~Chapter 19~ Black alley

Rose's pov:

I woke up from Danny gently shaking me and whispering that we are back in Dublin. So I got up and we walked out of the airplane and got our luggage. When we both had our suitcases we took a taxi to Danny's house to sleep the rest of the night that was left.

When I woke up the next morning I saw that it was already 10.38 so I went out of bed and to the kitchen where I found Danny making breakfast.

"Moring!" I said walking up to him and kissing him on the cheek.

"Good morning!" He said back embracing me in one of his hugs. We had our breakfast together and got dressed. Unfortunately I had to go back to work today so we couldn't spent the whole day together.

"How late do you have to be at work?" Dan asked when he walked into the living room with his hair still wet from the shower.

"12.00 PM and I'm finished at 6 PM, but I have to pick up Skyler on the way back home." I said to him.

"Okay, are you going back to yours after work or coming to mine again?" He asked sitting next to me on the couch.

"I don't mind. What do you want me to?" 

"Well I'd love it if you stay with me." He said winking at me.

"Well I guess it's sorted then!" I said smiling at him.

At 11.40 I said my goodbye to Danny and went to my work. I wasn't even inside yet but Anne already came running towards me throwing questions about me and Danny.

"I guess you've seen the papers then?" I said laughing.

"Yeah of course! Who didn't?"

It was pretty busy today so I was happy when I finally had my lunch break with Anne. We were eating our lunch behind the pay desk when Anne looked out of the window and said to me

"I think there is someone for you." I looked confused at her so she pointed at the door and exactly at that moment the door opened and Danny came walking in with three starbucks coffee's.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him surprised.

"I was finished in the studio with Glen so I decided to get you a coffee and you told me about Anne so I thought I get her one as well." He said smiling at me.

"That's so cute!" Anne squealed. Dan gave us our coffee's and sat with us until Anne and I had to go back to work.

"See you tonight gorgeous." He said giving me a kiss on the cheek before walking out the door.

"Yup" I said after him and waved him goodbye.

"He is soooooo adorable!" Anne squealed when Danny was gone.

"Yeah I know." I said blushing.

"I think you got yourself a keeper here, Rose." She said getting back to work.

When I was finally finished with work I locked the door and went to pick Skyler up by Laura before getting to Danny. I decided to take a shortcut through the alley's, it was already pretty dark but not that late so what could happen? I thought to myself walking through the alley's. When I turned around a corner I bumped into someone and quickly said sorry as I didn't really want to talk to someone in these alley's. But when I tried to walk away the man who I just bumped into grabbed my wrist and pulled me back. I was to scared to look up at him so I just looked down at the ground trying to get away but he was too strong.

"I knew it was you." The man said and when I heard his voice I froze. I looked up at the man and I was right, it was my dad...

"What do you want?" I asked feeling anger coming up.

"I want you to pay for what you've done!" He screamed at me slapping me in the face.

"What have I done?!" I screamed back getting really angry now.

"You know exactly what you've done! You were always telling your mum how bad I was and what I did to you. You stupid lying bitch! And you've told her that so many times that she want to divorce now and that's all your fault! You're the biggest mistake ever!" He spat in my face. I felt the tears coming up but didn't want to cry in front of him cause I didn't want to think him that I was weak.

"Well maybe she finally came to her senses." I said calmly back at him.

"You said what!?" He screamed at me.

"You heard me." I said back. At that moment he raised his hand and slapped me full in my face after that he heated me a few times in my stomach. I fell to the ground and I heard him whisper in my ear

"Watch out bitch." I smelled the smell of alcohol coming out of his mouth, which wasn't new to me cause most of the times he was drunk. He finally walked away after he kicked me one last time. I struggled to get up and went as fast as I could to Laura. When I finally got there I knocked on the door and burst our crying when she opened it.

"Shhh, it's ok. I'm here." She said trying to calm me down. After about five minutes I calmed down and told Laura what happened and saw her shocked expression. She knew about my past but she knew as well that I hadn't contact with my family anymore so I could see the confusion on her face when I told her that my father had found me. 

"Does Danny know that you're here?" She asked after a while.

"Shit no!" I said remembering that I promised Danny to go to him.

"Come I'll bring you there." She said packing Skylers stuff.

"Thanks." I said smiling at her. We took Skyler and walked to the car and drove to Danny. When I stepped out the car Laura said

"If you ever need me call me!"

"Yes I will." I said giving her a quick hug before getting inside. When I came inside Danny came running to the door and said

"Where were you? I was worried about you?" So I told him the story and started crying again. Dan took me in his arms and calmed me down.

"He isn't gonna hurt you again I promise." He said kissing the top of my head. We walked into the living room and Skyler immediately ran to the couch and jumped on it. We laughed at her and went to eat. After dinner I went to have a shower as I was still covered in my own blood. I went to the bathroom and took my shirt of, it was a white shirt but was totally fucked now to I went back downstairs to throw my shirt by the trash. When I turned around I saw Dan sitting on the couch looking at me with tears in his eyes.

"What's wrong?" I asked him worried.

"You're totally covered in cuts and bruises." He said walking towards me.

I looked down at myself for the first time today after I was beaten up by my dad and saw that he was right. He lied me down on the sofa and started to kiss all my cuts and bruises, when he had kissed all of them he came to my lips and gave me a passionate kiss. After that I went to the bathroom to have a shower and changed into my pjs and went to sit down on the sofa next to Dan. I snuggled into his side and he wrapped his arms around me protectively and started to sing 'you won't feel a thing.'

Lay you're cuts and bruises over my skin I promise you won't feel a thing, cause everything the world could throw I'll stand in front I'll take the blow, for you, for you...

When he finished the song I smiled at him and gave him a kiss.

"I love you." He said kissing me back.

"I love you too." I replied to him.
