All sudden I notice a shape appear next to the fence of the arena.
"Wooooow boy." I say to Phantom, and he automatically slows down.
The whole entire ride I didn't have to use the bridle. I just hung onto his mane for balance and he just went round and round the arena at the perfect speed and rhythm. We stop just in front of the shape and I notice the shape is actually a person. Jacob to be exact.
"Oh, hey." I say to him.
"Your mom said I would find you here..." He tells me.
"She knows me well," I say back.
"Is this your grandparents' old farm?" He asks quietly.
"Yeah, it is." I whisper.
"The others left and told me to tell you that they say 'goodbye' and 'see you on Friday'." Jacob informs me.
"Oh, ok." I just stare at Phantom's mane. "How long were you standing there for?"
"Long enough to see that the connection between Phantom and you is amazing." He tells with a smile.
"Oh, uh, thanks." I say still staring down. "Um, do you want a tour of this place?"
"Ya sure, that would be great." He says with a smile.
