The next evening Ram had arranged an online meeting with Krish to know about the progress of the case. Priya sat beside him to join the call. 

Krish infromed that he had found Mahendra Sood and started to stalk him. 

Krish- Now I am sure that he is working for someone. I have seen him to talk to someone, whom he calls sir, and talk about failed plot. 

Ram- And it took you 3 days to find that out. Priya just knew it. In a second. Aise banega ye detective.

Priya- Mr. Kapoor, kya kar rahe hain aap. Listen to him at first. 

Krish fixed his glasses seeing Ram's restlessness. He could feel Ram didn't like him that much. But he didn't understand the reason. 

Priya- Krish, please don't mind and please continue. 

Krish- So, we tapped his phone and find out the owner of the number Mahendra Sood calls so frequently.

Ram became impressed at the progress but didn't say anything. Priya gave him a side eye. Ram noticed that and felt a little embarrassed. 

Ram- Th..at's good. So whom does it belong to? 

Krish- Sahil Babbar.

Ram- Sahil Babbar? 

Krish- Yes, the number is registered by the name of Sahil Babbar. 

Priya- Sahil... Babbar? Mr. Kapoor, is he related to Shashi Babbar? 

Ram- He is the father of Shashi Babbar. But he died many years ago. How is this possible? 

Priya- It means someone is using the number Sahil Babbar used to use. 

Ram- Shashi? Did he try to kill me?

Krish- We can't be sure yet. We have to gather further information to be sure about it. 

Ram- Ok, so, we can send police to his house with a search warrant. 

Krish- No, we can't. That will alert Shashi and it's a sim card, Mr. Kapoor. It's easy to hide and destroy. 

Priya- So, what do you suggest? 

Krish- I suggest that we continue to tap his phone calls and that will lead us to Shashi eventually with enough evidence in our hands. By the way, if we could tap Shashi's phone it would be great. I'll talk to the inspector about this matter. Mr. Kapoor, do you have his number?

Ram- Shashi's number?

Krish- Ha.

Ram- I'll have to ask, Adi.

Priya- Ok. 

Ram went to the balcony to talk to Adi. Krish saw him with confusion. 

Krish- Priya, tell me something. Isn't Shashi Babbar one of his college classmates?

Priya- Yes, I can't believe he did it. 

Krish- And I can't believe Mr. Kapoor doesn't remember his number. 

Priya- Why are you shocked? There are many people who don't keep their batchmates phone number. 

Krish- But aren't they in touch?

Priya- Yes, they are. But...

Krish- There is no excuse for that. I still have your number saved. 

Priya looked at him with a shocked expression. Ram had hung up the call with Adi. He was about to join but their conversation stopped him. 

Priya- How did you get my number? 

Krish- I managed. I had numbers of all beautiful girls. 

Priya- And I wasn't one of them.
