Turmoil I

Everyone in Sood house became happy seeing Ram and Priya. Sara ran to embrace Priya while Sandy and Akki dragged Ram into the house. Meera hugged both Ram and Priya. 

Ram- Maa, I'm famished. Can I get something to eat? 

Meera maa- Of course. I cooked halwa today.

Ram- Fantastic. I'll have that. I am famished right now because of your daughter's fault. Now only maa's halwa can save me. 

Priya- What did I do? 

Ram- Who gives such an extended lecture?

Priya- Who wanted to listen? Tell that first. 

Ram- Ha to jo bhi sunna chahte ho. Itni complicated lecture dogi? 

Priya- Aab complicated topic hai to hai. Aap kya expect kar rahe the? G for green, I for industry? 

Sara- Achha, bas bas. You guys are fighting like kids. 

Priya- I am not a kid. He is. He always acts like one. 

Ram- And you? Chhoti si baaton pe tunak jaati ho. And you pout. 

Priya- No, I don't. 

Ram- Yeah, you do. Saradi, you tell me. Doesn't she pout in anger? She does. I've seen it. Look you are doing it again. You are pouting.

Sara and Meera watched them smiling.

Meera- Ha, she used to pout like this when she was a little kid. 

Sara- Then suddenly she had to grow up all of a sudden. 

Meera- It's all my fault. 

Sara- Mine too mumma. I am her elder sister. I should've protected her. 

Meera- But I am glad Ram came into her life.

Priya went to her room to do some work. Ram continued the banter. Sandy was about to enter but Akki dragged her out. Priya and Ram were alone in the room. 

Priya- Aren't you hungry anymore? 

Ram- Of... of course I am. 

Priya- Then why are you following me leaving your halwa? 

Ram- That's because you left our argument there. And this is called cheating. 

Priya- Is it even an argument? Chaliye jaiye aab, aap jeet gayein. 

Ram- Ek second. Mujhe muft pe mili jeet nahi chahiye. I've won for real. 

Priya- Ok. You've won. Now eat the halwa and go home. 

Ram- What do you mean by "go home"? It's "Let's go home". If you want I can give you an extended lecture on the use of "Let's".

Priya- I know the use of "Let's". But I am not talking about us. I'll be staying here. You can go home. 

Ram- Why?

Priya- There is so much work to do. 

Ram- So? You can bring Tarun. He'll help you. Also, you can tell me. I'll help. There's no need to stay here.

 Priya- But I want to stay here. Ya phir shaadi ho gayi isliye main apni ghar nahi rah sakti. 

Ram- Par tumahara ghar to aab Kapoor mansion hai na. I mean both are your home. You can stay wherever you want. I am no one to comment on that. Ok. I'll get going. Goodnight, Priya.
