"Please, don't compliment. It'll be so awkward."

"Let's do that."

"He was staring like this on that day too."

"I should have complimented back then too. Things would be less awkward perhaps."

"Is he going to run today too?"

"Bol de beta Ram."

Ram- You are looking pretty today.

Priya- Umm... Th...thank you. Sara di jabardasti... ye sab... pehna diya. 

After creating storms of thoughts in their mind, Ram and Priya talk to each other. Priya becomes awkward hearing the compliment from Ram and Ram notices her difficulties in taking a compliment. 

Ram was about to say something to make her easy but he sees Vedika and Shashi at the party. His heart aches a bit remembering the plans he made and how reality is so different from that. Priya notices his discomfort. 

Priya- Mr. Kapoor, are you okay? 

Ram- Ha? Yeah, I'm fine. Actually, wo...

Priya- What? 

Ram- My ex is at the party. 

Priya- Oo.

Ram- Do you want to meet her? 

Priya- Ha? Umm... no. I don't want to. 

Ram- But, I know your ex. It'd be only fair...

Priya- Because I can't keep him away from my life. He is in the family now. But I have no interest in your ex. 

Ram- Ok... But...

Ram gets interrupted by Shivi. She drags Ram to dance with her. Everybody dances and enjoys themselves. Everyone keeps requesting Priya for a couple dance with Ram. But she feels awkward. Seeing her discomfort, Ram dances with his Meera maa to spare her the horror of dancing in front of everyone. Meera's happiness carves a smile on her face.

As, the night increases, the party starts getting intense. Priya goes to a room after being unable to tolerate the loud music in the hall. Neeraj follows her. 

Neeraj- Wow! a bride all alone!

Priya- What are you doing here? 

Neeraj- I should ask you that. What are you doing here? Did Ram leave you? 

Priya- I am not obliged to answer your questions. You are a guest here so behave like one. Go and be with Maitri. 

Neeraj- [smirking] You don't need to answer my question. Your face tells everything. You still love me. I've seen you stealing glances at me. This marriage is a fake one. You lied about liking Ram. Neither you like him nor he likes you. So, stop all this drama and accept that you can't move on from me. 

While Neeraj was uttering these nonsense words, Ram listened to him from the outside. He has followed Priya reckoning her discomfort. 

Ram- Neeraj, it's time you get a reality check. 

Ram speaks while entering the room. 

Ram- You can't be that oblivious. I mean look at you and look at me, the most eligible bachelor in the town. I don't want to be so rude, but we don't even have competition. You may ask any girl, they will always choose me over you. I'm more handsome, richer, and kinder than you. Dare I say, I'm even smarter than you. Smart enough to find the diamond in the midst of fake jewels.
