After you packed your bag Tom had other ideas instead of going back to his place.
"This feels really strange what if someone sees us?" Tom places some vegetables into the trolly "i've been coming here for years and I've not seen anyone that goes to that university in here but if someone does see us there isn't much they can do because the owner of the place knows about us so relax baby" tom kisses your forehead.
"If you want anything put it in the trolly and i will pay for it"
You frown.

"Oh my gosh can we get these" you say as you hold up a packet of what looks like mini watermelons.
"Darling theres no need to ask just put whatever you want in but out of curiosity what are they?"
You read the label.
"They're cucamelons, apparently they taste like cucumber even though they look like baby watermelons"
"Get two just incase we like them" tom says.
"Okay" you pick up another pack and put it in the trolly.
"Jesus how many fruit and vegetables do you need" you ask tom as he puts more into the trolly.
"A lot..i make smoothies so half of this stuff will be used in a few days..anyway what do you fancy for dinner"
You let go of the trolly and wrap your arms around toms waist.

"I love the idea of having a part of me in your mouth but you need real food"

"I'm not sure myself.." tom looks around the store.
"How about stake?"
You nod.
"That would be nice but please make sure it isn't mooing on my plate"
Tom laughs.
"Alright darling" tom leans down and kisses you.

A familiar voice says making you part from the kiss you hadn't heard that voice in months.
"Maria"
Her eyes are practically bulging out f her head.
"God i knew something was happening between you two..you're actually fucking your teacher" she laughs"you're in so much shit"
"What are you going to do?" Tom asks.
"Oh I'm totally going to report you both" she says.
"Oh..okay well i was nice seeng you..i see you haven't changed much you're still a toxic bitch" you say looking Maria up and down.
"C'mon darling lets go get them stake" tom says placing a kiss on your head.
Maria mutters something as you pass her which you can't make out but who cares.

"Here take these and open the front door" tom passes you his house keys and you get out of his car and unlock his front door.
While your doing that tom starts to get the bags out of the boot.
One you open the door you help tom with the bags.
"You didn't have to help me"
"I know but i want to"
You both take the bags into the kitchen, tom goes back out to lock his car.
When he comes back in you're half way done with unpacking the shopping.
"Jesus are you the flash or something"
"What makes you say that" you ask.
"I was gone for like 20 seconds and your almost done unpacking"
You shrug.
"Let me do the rest" tom says
"You sure"
"Positive"
"Okay" you smile awkwardly.
"Are you okay"
"Yeah it just feels a bit strange being here"
"If I'm going too fast just tell me"

You think about it for a second before doing it.
Tom cuts a bit of stake and puts it in your mouth.

You count to five and then start chewing
To your surprise it actually tastes nice.
You open your eyes and cover your mouth with your hand before talking.
"Oh this is actually nice"
"I told you it would be" tom says proudly.
"The look of it still cringes me out though"

"Do you want me to cook it how you like it"
You shake your head "no its fine"

Tom cuddles closer to you "hello you" he says in a low American accent.

You cover your face.

Tom and you get into the bed and under the covers.
He pulls you closer to him and you rest your head on his chest.
"Today was really nice" you say

You nod "mhm..we acted like a normal couple and being out in public with you was nice"
"Aren't you worried about Maria telling people"
"No i don't really care about her are you"
Tom shakes his head.
"No i probably would a while back but not anymore"
You yawn "good"
"How tired are you"
"Really tired but i don't want to go to sleep" you say.

"Because i want to spend more time with you"
Tom smiles.
"You'll have all of tomorrow and the next day and then the next day to spend time with me"
"Hmm..yeah but you've got work tomorrow and i don't have to come in tomorrow"
"I wont be kind i think I've only got two classes"
"Okay"
"Ready to sleep" tom asks.
You nod.
Tom switches off his bedside lamp before kissing you.
