"I felt bad and i needed to tell you..im sorry"

"Yes..if it was when we were still together then that would not be okay but we wasn't so you was free to do whatever you wanted"
Tom clears his throat.
"Hello i'm tom ellis" he puts his hand out.
You look at him confused until you realise what he's doing.
"Hi im y/n Tomlinson"
"It's nice to meet you miss Tomlinson"

"So what do you do?"
"I work in a coffee shop and i go to oak hill university how about you"
"I'm an English professor at oak hill university"

"I'm 24 how about you"

"Oh nothing its just if you switch our ages around id be 42 and you'd be 24"

"Do you have any siblings" he says

" so I've got two brothers one called Noah he's 22 and one called mason he's 28 I've got two sisters one is called Scarlett shes 10 and the other one is called Ellie who is 16..do you have siblings"
"I do i have three sisters"
You nod.
"What's your favourite colour" he asks
"Purple whats yours"
"Same"
"What do you study in uni"
"Zoology but that also comes with English maths and a few other random classes what did you study"
"I studied drama"
"But you're an English professor"
"It's a long story"
You nod "okay fair enough"
"Have you had any partners" he asks
"Yes"
"How many?"
"Three my last relationship was serious but things happened..how about you"
"Im sorry to hear that..I've had seven married and divorced two"

"i had my first wife at 18 i was a proper lad and i cheated but the second one was in my thirties 38 to be exact..she did the cheating i guess you can class that as karma"
"do you live by yourself?"
"well currently i'm stopping with my two friends but i own an appatrment that i shared with my ex best friend but she moved out not long ago..do you live by yourself"
"i do"
"Do you want children?" He asks
"Um..possibly with the right person do you?"
He nods.
"I'm the same as you regarding wanting them with he right person"
You nod.
"I'm going to get straight to the point" he says
"Oh?"
"I would like to take you out on a few dates and see how it goes"
"Wow..um sure i would like that but isn't it against the rules to have something romantic with a student and aren't you bothered about our age difference"
"It is against the rules but as long as we be careful we should be okay..when do you graduate?"
"In three months"
Tom nods "got any plans after you graduate"
"I do but they're not solid ones"
"Fair enough..regarding our age i don't care, you're of age so it's not wrong"
Your's and tom's attention moves to the door of the sun house opening and peeper comes running inside followed by Lauren
"Oh great you're talking..soooooo are you guys back on?"
Tom grabs your hand and you smile at him before he says "yes we are"
