Can't Science This [HC 6] (Drabble|Hurt) {Bdoc}

The title saying "(Drabble|Hurt)" is just saying that it's drabble, and like hurt/comfort without the comfort basically. It wasn't bad enough to be considered angst. Just felt I should explain it- ANYWAYS onto the oneshot!

Also, I've never seen Scar's or Doc's season 6 so I don't actually know much about in inner workings of area 77 so you'll have to forgive me for whatever I get wrong. I didn't say any details, so hopefully I didn't totally get everything wrong.

Doc groaned loudly, hitting his head on the table. What the hell was wrong with him!? "Doc, something wrong?" Scar raised an eyebrow to the distressed creeper. "I have no fu-" "Beep." "-ing clue! I- I-" Doc had shot up from his seat, waving his arms around frantically, "I just feel really weird! It's like an insane nervously that just won't leave! Whenever I do get it gone, it comes back as soon as I hang out in a group of hermits! I don't know what's happening!"

"Love?"

"What? What do you mean..?" Doc finally turned to the brunette. "Well, maybe you're in love?" Scar suggested, "Is there a specific someone it happens around?" "I- I don't know..." Doc glanced down. None of this made sense. What caused this? Could he make a machine to stop it? Could he science it?

"Doc. Stop thinking so much." Scar stated, taking a seat on Doc's desk. "But- but need to figure it out! Also, get off my desk." Doc swatted at Scar, getting the Convex off his desk after a bit. "It's love. You don't need to get rid of it. It's just a natural feeling!" Scar smiled widely, getting an eye roll, "You just need to figure out who you're in love with."

"How do you expect to do that?"

"Name different hermits and see how you react." Scar smiled evilly, "Sexuality?"

"Why would I tell you that!?" Doc yelled, just about ready to leave. "Well, if I start naming the wrong gender, that won't get us anywhere." "Gay. Queer, or whatever. I like men." Doc stated, getting a nod from Scar.

"How long has this been happening?"

"Last season, though it only started up again recently..."

"So definitely not Grian. Good." "Why good?" "I- Um... I like him. I don't want you trying to steal him!" "Dude, I would never dream of liking Grian. Also, why do you like him!? He is one of them hippies, and your company rival!"

Scar paused, face pink, he attempted to form words a few times, but failed miserably. He finally said, "Let's... Let's get back to your problem. I'm going to name hermits, and I'll see your reaction. You can also give your opinions on them."

"K."

"Cub?" No reaction. "Etho?" "He's cool." Doc mentioned. "Just think of him as a friend?" "Obviously." "Alright... Impulse?"

Scar went through plenty of hermits, getting no reactions. "Y'know, I think who I suspected is actually going to be it." Scar mentioned. "What do you mean?" "Bdubs."

Doc glanced away, his green skin darkening on his cheeks slightly, "H-he's annoying... I- Ummm... Could it really be DoubleO..?" "With that reaction, I'm pretty sure it is." Scar smirked, adding, "It starting up recently also makes sense since he only joined this season recently."

Doc slipped down into his chair, covering his face with his hands. "Love is stupid..." "Love is not stupid! Love is wonderful! You just haven't dealt with it before. I take it you've never had a crush before now?" "Yeah, no duh! I don't even know why I like Bdubs... Is it his laugh..? Or like how cute he is when he is annoyed? I need to figure this out."

"Doc, love is not a science."

"Sure it isn't." Doc got up once again, walking past Scar, getting to the door. Scar attempted to stop Doc, but just got his hand swatted away. "Doc, you are just going to get more frustrated not being able to break it down into a science!" Scar expressed strongly. Doc didn't care. He needed to figure it out.
