You've probably heard this one a thousand times. Where vampires are just ordinary humans with ordinary lives. Well, these lives aren't quite that ordinary. OR The crew of VSMP are actors in a play based off a famous book series. Lots of shenanigans ensue.

The Forbidden Seas belonged to no kingdom. Every map marked the waters differently, but every sailor agreed on one thing: once you crossed into them, you were no longer protected by the crown. They belonged to the Howlers. The ruthless pirate fleet had ruled the sea for decades, leaving shattered ships and whispered legends in their wake. Merchant captains spoke of black sails appearing from nowhere, of eerie howls echoing across the water before an attack, and of crews vanishing without a trace. The Howlers didn't bargain, didn't ransom prisoners, and were infamous for leaving no survivors to tell the tale. At the center of every story was their captain. Ren. A wolf hybrid whose name alone was enough to silence a crowded tavern. Some claimed he had once served the royal navy before turning pirate. Others insisted he'd been born at sea beneath a blood-red moon. No one knew the truth. What everyone agreed on was that if Captain Ren chose your ship, there was no escaping him. Now Captain Martyn found himself sailing straight into those very waters. As captain of a royal merchant vessel, he knew exactly what it meant. His green eyes scanned the horizon through his spyglass, searching the gray sea for any sign of black sails. Around him, the crew worked in uneasy silence, each man listening to the wind and the waves, dreading the sound every sailor feared. The howl of a wolf. Because once the Howlers found you, the sea itself became their hunting ground. And no prey had ever outrun the pack.

Grian pressed a button. That's how the shenanigans started. Then he has to learn how to deal with the consequences, and those consequences come in the form of child hermits. Thankfully he's not alone, but he is in a lot of trouble, and he needs to figure out a plan to bring them back to human form, while simultaneously dealing with kids along with the other 7 adult hermits. Here's where I shall be putting all of my ideas for short stories, headcanons/canons, drabbles, tests, chapters that you can take inspiration off and continue, and other things. (Summary) Twenty two different people from different backgrounds must stand their ground against a great evil that had destroyed their past lives. Some were royalty. Some had a steadfast destiny. Some were content already. But when it is no longer enough to hide, these souls must fight and unite, whether they wanted to or not.

Tango had a little accident while testing his inators, and turned more than half of the hermit population to 3-5 year olds. The other hermits will have to work together to take care of the younger hermits till they can find a way of turning them back to adults again. Majority of this book is made out of fluff. There might be some mentions of angst, but overall nothing too serious. [Greetings. 2021 me here. Uhh- 2020 me is a liar. The angst has gone a bit... much.] [Also there are no ships in this book]
