I entered the bar and the three of them looked at me and smiled. I walked over and sat with them, looking around.

"This is not my typical bar, but I find it... calm," I said and Richie walked off, which made me feel weird. I looked at Duncan and Tessa and Duncan sighed smirking.

"Yes, Maria, you can follow us," he said and I shook my head, laughing with Tessa. I did follow them around it came down to a moment in time I will never forget.

"This is Greta and she can read palms," Richie said and I turned around and kissed her hand, still doing it for some reason. She smiled and Tessa stuck her hand out. Duncan rolled his eyes, not completely believing in that kind of stuff, but I believed in everything now, thanks to Darius. Greta took her palm and looked in genuine distress and Greta pulled back, looking at us and took her hand back, looking even worse. I looked at Richie and he just stared at her, as did Duncan.

"I think that is enough," Duncan said and I nodded, standing up to pull them apart but when she opened her eyes, she looked at me and then at the others.

"That was... Oh my God that was-"

"Yeah, I think we are goo, take our money and go," Duncan said and walked away with Tessa and I looked at Richie and Greta.

"What did you see?"

"What? Do you just want me to take your money too?" I laughed a little and looked at Tessa, who was now freaked out, Duncan consoling her.

"I believe you, trust me, I believe in a lot of things unexplained." She sighed and pulled me aside where she looked at Richie, who walked over to the others and I sighed, putting my hands on her shoulders.

"She was in trouble or something, it was dark, like someone had just turned out the lights and... and there were swords and-" I cut her off after she looked distressed and I put my hand on her cheek, which somehow calmed her down.

"I believe you... I will remember it, I swear." I went to walk away when she called out to me. I turned around and she smiled.

"I was a fraud before... that was the first time I had ever seen something. I didn't mean to freak anyone out, I just thought I would make a few bucks and move on, but I actually saw something." I nodded and walked over to her

"I can read yours for free since you have been so nice." I thought about it for a minute and looked at the other three and they were all staring at me. I put out my hand and she took it, reading my palm. She looked happy and I looked at her and she opened her eyes.

"I see a man, he is very young looking and a painting and a book. It feels calm and it seems you are happy." I nodded and hugged her, handing her two-hundred dollars, which she stared at, confused.

"I said it was free."

"I know, I like you," I said and left her standing there, without even knowing what she meant and walked back over to the two, Richie was off somewhere else.

"Let's get married," Duncan said and we both turned to him, with complete shock.

"What do you mean, married?"

"I mean married, as in, married."

"You mean as in, a proposal? You mean, as in 'will you marry me," married?" I laughed and was in shock but was also filled with complete happiness, something I hadn't felt in a little bit.

"Is this better?" he asked and he got on his knee and began to sing awkwardly and Tessa pulled him up, laughing.

"Yes, YES! I will marry you," she said and people began to clap as I made them. I hugged them both and felt so happy for them, knowing I would never get married.
