Ricky's POV

I watch from the distance as my friends stretch out. Did I want to do this? Not really, but we're defending our school, so we're doing this.

"Ricky!" Lily calls out. "I need to talk to you about something important!"

"What's up?"

"Well, first of all, you don't really think we would steal from you guys, do you?"

"Well, you and Howie? No. Your french friend and EJ's arch nemesis? Absolutely. But what's up?"

"Well, I've been brewing this potion for a while now. I think it can cure EJ and vanish the Blood Lust in his body."

"Really?" I look over at EJ, stretching out.

"Yes, but I don't want to tell anyone yet. The Blood Lust is a combination of both power and magic, so I have to use a pretty intense spell, but I think I got it. Right now, I've only been able to come up with a temporary solution, but with all of the right ingredients, I can make it permanent. Some of the last ingredients I need are even outside of Salt Lake, maybe even Utah. So I want to track down exactly where they are before I get everyone's hopes up. Then some of us can go on a little road trip to find everything, I can finish my potion and save EJ."
