There are twist and turns in the musical, and there are twists and turns outside the theatre, too. What will stay the same by the end of the summer?

Ricky and Nini have absolutely hated each other since kindergarten. The two could never get along. They were always bickering about something. Ricky and Nini were so glad it was finally summer break because now they could get away from each other and not have to interact until the next school year. But that's when they both find out that they have to spend the entire summer together. And they're left deciding if they still truly hate each other...

What happens to the characters off screen in between episodes. I feel like there are some plot lines and character relationships that appear developed pretty quickly and I thought I'd do some digging into their background. All canon relationships remain but I might explore headcannon sexualities (after all these are theatre kids) (Disclaimer: I love the show and this isn't to diss on it)
