Today is Monday. A fresh new start for the weekdays and the beginning of Elle's CSSYB (Certification for Six Sigma Yellow Belt) class. This subject is usually a take-after to every graduate Industrial Engineers.
It will take for a week session through online class.
She will be having a night schedule during MWF and afternoon schedule during TTh. Elle is preparing her laptop and things for her class later when she finds out that her laptop's charger adaptor was left in her dad's bag at nadala ito papuntang Cebu.
Elle go out to see Attorney Liza and borrow an adaptor. She found her in the kitchen with their househelper, Manang Cecil.
"Good morning po ma'am. Good morning din po sa inyo manang" nakangiti niyang bati sa dalawa.
Tumango lamang ang matandang babae bago bumati sa kanya. "Good morning din Miss Elle" nakangiti din nitong sabi habang busy sa paghahanda sa mesa.
"Good morning Elle. Almusal ka na muna. Pasensya ka na nagmamadali ako. May pasok pa kasi ako today. Manang will be here for you naman" pagbati ni Atty. Liza habang nagmamadaling matapos kumain.
"Naku po ma'am. Wag niyo na po akong alalahanin, I'll be fine po. Pero makisuyo lang po sana ako ma'am? Kung pwede po sana makihiram ng adaptor ng charger sa laptop. Naiwan po kasi sa bag ni daddy yung akin" panunuyo ni Elle.
"Sure dear" habang tinitingnan si Manang Cecil. "Kunin mo lang mamaya manang please sa computer room ni Vinny. And oh, before I forgot pala pakilinis na din manang kasi Vinny called earlier that he'll be home" dagdag pa niya.
"Okay po ma'am. Gagawin ko po" pagsang-ayon ni Manang.
Niligpit ni Atty. Liza ang kanyang pinagkainan at nagsimula ng tumayo sa kanyang inuupuan.
"Salamat manang. Sige, I'll go ahead na ha. Elle, just please tell Manang if you need something" habilin pa niya.
"Salamat po ma'am. Ingat po kayo" paalam ni Elle..
Attorney Liza give her a nod and went out with her driver. Only Elle and Manang Cecil left in the house today, so she tries to talk and befriend her while they are both in the kitchen.
"Uhhm, Manang pwede po ba ako magtanong sainyo?" nakangiting sabi ni Elle, pasimula ng kanyang pakikipag-usap.
"Oo naman po Miss Elle. Ano po yun?" si manang.
"Elle nalang po. Anyway, sino po yung Vinny?" she smiled.
"Ahhh, si Sir Vinny! Anak po nina ma'am at sir. Nasa Singapore kasi siya, at ayun nga uuwi daw sabi ni ma'am" paliwanag ni Manang Cecil.
"What is he doing in Singapore po ba? Studying or working already?" tanong naman ni Elle.
"Working po pero dun din kasi siya nag-aral. Engineer din po yun si Sir Vinny ma'am. Soft...care, spof..ter, ay ewan di ko alam kung paano bigkasin, basta gano'ng engineer po si Sir Vinny" sagot ni manang habang iniisip pa rin kung ano yung tugma na salita.
"Ahh, hahaha baka po Software Engineer manang?" Elle assumed.
"Ay oo, iyon nga. Nakalimutan ko lang dahil parang ang hirap kasi bigkasin" natatawang sabi ni Manang.
"Hahahaha. Ang cute niyo po manang" Elle giggled. "Anyway, saan po ba yung computer room?" she asked again.
"Doon po malapit sa library ni Sir Bong. Tara, samahan ko na po kayo" sabi ni manang, at nauna na siyang naglakad papuntang computer room.
Manang Cecil guide her to where the computer room is. She was amazed by how well furnished and beautiful the room.
While manang is cleaning, as what Atty. Liza said, Elle accompanied her and have some chitchats for her also to not get bored while waiting.
She really enjoyed talking to Manang Cecil the whole day. Manang Cecil let her help with the things she is doing after Elle insisted to give a hand.
It was already 3:00 pm in the afternoon when they finished. She decided to take a bath and stay in her room to prepare everything that she'll be needing later in her class.
Her class will start at 7:00 pm and it's already 6:00 pm. Elle go out and went straight to the computer room to get the adaptor of which she left earlier.
But when she entered the room....
Someone who's having a not-so-chubby cheeks meet her eyes with a furrowed forehead and all confused as he look at her.
"Who are you????" the guy asked that made Elle too stunned to speak.
