Ash: "What is it?"
???: "I'm not here for your title, but rather just a battle with you."
Leaf: 'Gary said cloaked person. Is this who he's talking about? I'll keep my guard up.'
???: "My only request is a two round battle. If we need to do a tie breaker we'll do a third round. Can you fulfill that?"
Ash: "I suppose I can. Although if we're gonna battle, I'm going all out!"
???: "I expect nothing else. Champ."
Ash: "Lucario let's go!"
???: "Gengar."
Ash sends out his Lucario, with the mystery trainer sending out his Gengar. However, as Gengar gets sent out, some stars pop off.
Leaf: 'A shiny?!"
Ash: "Mega Evolve!"

Ash: "Bone rush!"
???: "Lights out. Shadow ball straight up."
Gengar launches a shadow ball up, knocking out the lights and leaving Lucario confused in the dark, as Gengar laughs and sinks into the shadows.
Ash: "Covering in the darkness huh? Unfortunately Lucario attracts the aura of pokemon, so even darkness or double teams won't work."
???: "..."
Lucario closes its eyes and focuses on detecting Gengar's aura.
Ash: "Lucario Extreme Speed then Bone rush again!"
Lucario rushes forward at extreme speeds summoning a bone, before launching it straight down.
???: "Too slow Champ."
Gengar quickly dodges from the shadow moving straight behind Lucario.
???: "Will-O-Wisp."
Gengar sends a Will-O-Wisp burning Lucario and lowering its attack, before going back into the shadow.
