Dawn and May wake up a smell coming from the kitchen
Dawn: 'Who's up so early?'
May: "Do you smell that too Dawn?"
Dawn: "Yeah it smells great."
Both girls walk towards the kitchen only to see Ash fully awake making pancakes.
Ash: "Yo!"
Dawn shows a bright smile
Dawn: "So that's where the good smell was coming from."
Ash: "Ha. Thanks for the compliment. Well have a seat. I'll bring the food over in a minute."
Both girls sit down. Dawn gives a look at May. May whispers to Dawn.
May: "What's up?"
Dawn: "Not only is Ash a great fighter, but he can also cook. Total husband material."

Ash: "You okay May?"
May doesn't make eye contact with Ash making him shrug
Dawn: "Don't worry about her. Anyway why cook? You usually train in the morning right?"
Ash: "Well the start of the tournament is today so I decided to take a break. Although I can't wake up late because of my habit."
Dawn: "Oh....I'm hurt tho. You didn't make pancakes when I was going to my tournament."
