"What's gonna happen now?" Leon asked as he passed me the blunt, "Don't know,"
"I hate finding out shit from other people about my man, like that looks crazy!" He nodded his head.
"Y'all divorcing or you don't know?" I shrugged my shoulders and passed him the blunt. "Anyways, where's my lil baby at?" He chuckled.
"With her mom," I smirked, "How's that going?"
"It's going. She's not being difficult, so we're good,"
"And Josie?" He nodded his head, "Doing really good, love that lil girl man," I smiled.
"That's good Leon," he sighed. "I married him, loved him through everything, held him down for years. Had kids with him, moved in with him. For him to already do half that shit with someone,"
"How long you staying wimme?" He asks me, "Until tonight. I'm meeting with Amici and India tomorrow morning for business."
"Don't get in no shit Ken," I rolled my eyes, "I won't,"
"When's Josie coming home?" I asked him, as he got up from the couch and into the kitchen. "Around 3pm,"
"Okay," my phone then began buzzing, I picked it up to see multiple texts messages and missed calls from Booka. A missed call from Azur and Ajani.
—
So I called Azur back first.
"Yea?"
"You coming back?"
"Not today hun, what's wrong?"
"Nun, on my way to Chicago,"
"With who? And for what?"
"Uncle Von wants us, so we're going,"
"All y'all is going?"
"Yea,"
"Put Ajani on," I heard shuffling then his voice.
—
"Hi ma,"
"Hi baby, you good?"
