40 -Bromancing

Season 9 x 23

Sam, Calliope and Castiel are all holding Dean back from killing Gadreel. Dean manages to shove them all off him, and Sam and Calliope look at Dean, "Drop the Blade Dean!" Calliope calls out to him.
"Callie, move!" he says to her.
"Dean.." Sam then says as he stands between his brother and Gadreel.

"Sam, move!" Dean shouts at him.
Castiel then gets the jump on Dean, and holds him as Sam and Calliope rush up to Dean, "Let it go, let it go, let it go" they repeat to Dean taking the Blade from his hand. The three of them then take Dean down into the same room that they kept Crowley in.

"The hell if you think I'm riding the pine on this one, guys" Dean says to them.
"Dean, something is wrong with you, and until we can figure it out, this is the best place for you to stay" Calliope says to him.

"Oh, and you three are gonna do what? Take on Metatron yourselves? Oh, that's smart. Oh, no, wait. No, you... You lost your Angel army. And you, you don't even have all your powers, and you two, now you're tying to lock up the one guy who has a shot at killing the son of a bitch!" Dean shouts at the three of them. "Hell of a plan, fellas, and you" he says angerly. Sam, pulls Calliope away as him, and Castiel leave closing the door behind them. "Look, hey, guys. Calliope" Dean calls out as they lock the door. They then leave the room, "Sam! Sammy! Calliope! Callie!" Dean shouts out as they then close the door to the room, and Castiel locks it. 

Calliope holds the tears back as they walk down the hall, "this is for his own good Calliope" Castiel tells her.
"I know, I know, and I'm sorry Sam, I am sorry about not wanting to believe that the Blade was doing something to him. I was... I was blinded by well, I guess love." She says to Sam.

"I know Calliope, you and Dean are everything to one another, and I get that it's hard to see him like this.  We will figure it out, and we will save him" Sam says to her.
"I get it.... I know that Sammy, I know we need to get Dean back, the real Dean, our Dean, not this... this I don't want to say it... but he's become a killer" she says to them, as they then head to the main room, and Sam picks up a box and had the First Blade in his hand.

"Sam, Calliope" Castiel says to them.
"Yeah" Sam says setting the box down.
"Dean wasn't wrong, my followers have abandoned us" he says to them.
"Yeah, and Gadreel says he can help us. From where I sit, that's more than an even trade." He says as he places the Blade inside the box. They walk over to where Gadreel was last  and see the blood, but no Gadreel, he had left.

Following the trail of blood, Sam, Calliope and Castiel leave the bunker, and look for any signs of where Gadreel may have gone. As they drive down the road, Castiel and Calliope both look at one another as they can suddenly hear Metatron speaking, telling the Angels that he was going somewhere. Coming upon a car parked on the side of a road, Sam parks the car they were in and the three of them step out. Looking at the open driver's side door, they see blood all over the seat, and looking around they find Gadreel lying in the grass.

He gasps when he sees them, "Please, I'll leave you alone, I swear" he says scared of them.
"We're not here to hurt you." Castiel says as he reaches out to heal him.
"No, Your grace" Gadreel says leaning away. "Healing me will only weaken you" he adds.

Castiel doesn't care as he presses Gadreel's forehead and heals him, and Castiel has to take a moment to recover. "Did you hear him?" Gadreel then asks Castiel.
"Metatron, yes" Castiel tells him.
"Where is it that he plans on going to? What does he possibly want?" Calliope then asks, as Sam looks surprised.
"I'm afraid, humanity" Gadreel tells her.  Calliope then looks at Castiel, then up at Sam knowing what that means.

As Sam, Calliope and Castiel were dealing with Gadreel, Dean was getting sick in the room that he was locked up in. Knowing only one person that could give him the answers, Dean starts to look around for something to summon someone. After finding all the proper ingredients he goes ahead with the summoning spell. He tosses a match in the bowl in front of him, and waits for second. "What's that smell?" he then hears Crowley saying, as Crowley looks around and sees where he is.
