24- Weird Around Girls

The next morning the three hunters got a call about another body being found this time at a gym. They head there and check it out, and this time it's a woman's body and it is just like Wayne's. "Any idea what the vic weighed beforehand?" Sam asks an officer.

"One sixty five" the officer says.
"I would say more like one eighty" Calliope then says, and the men look at her, "what some woman like to lie about their weight, and sometimes their age" she tells them.

"So are you really 28?" Dean then asks her and she doesn't say a word.
"Need anything else, Agents?" the officer then asks.
"Yeah, is Sheriff Hanscum around?" Sam then asks.

"Sorry, she's out for the rest of the week. Hell of a time to take a vacation, right?" the officer says as he walks away.

"So we have two victims with practically nothing in common except for.." Calliope starts to say.
"A love of eclairs" Dean suddenly says. "Check this out" he then says as he bends down to the body, and so do Calliope and Sam. He then lifts the vics shirt up and they see a red mark on the woman's stomach. "What is that, a birthmark?" Dean then asks them,

"Huh?" Sam remarks, "So, the weight had to come off somehow, right? What if it's a suction mark?" Sam asks.
"Suction mark?" Dean asks.
"So, what, changeling?" Calliope asks them.

"Yeah, but changelings only ever take over kids. Neither of the vics had any" Sam says as they stand up.
"And we don't know if Wayne McNut had a suction mark" Dean says.

"Unless we missed it" Sam says.
"So we split up, someone goes to the morgue, someone will stay here and question the staff, while someone goes back to the motel to research" Calliope says as she sees the blonde talking to the officer.

"I'll stay" Sam then says.
"Ain't gonna happen" Dean then says.
"Why?" Sam asks.
"Because you're weird around girls" Dean tells him.

"What does that mean, 'weird'?" Sam asks.
"Sam you can be a little awkward, you know weird. I know your not weird with me, but that's cause I am use to the way you are. And I will stay to question the staff" Calliope says as she then walks away from the boys.

Calliope sits down with the blonde, "So you were suppose to close up the gym last night?" she asks her.
"Yeah, but I didn't exactly lock up. Carol was still working out, and.. I had a date. I didn't want to shortchange her, you know? I  mean the poor girl's been working so hard to lose weight for her wedding. I slipped her the key and I told her to lock up on her way out" she tells Calliope as they see the coroner taking the body away. The girl then starts to sob, "Oh, it's all my fault" she cries and as she turns to get herself a Kleenex, Calliope notices the same mark on the girls back that had also been on Carol's body.

"Umm mind if I ask you about the mark on your back?" Calliope then asks.
"That... that's nothing. Umm if we are done I need to go" she then says as she gets up and leaves.

Calliope leaves the Gym, and sees Dean standing out there waiting for her, "What didn't trust me to ask the right questions, or you wanted to check the blonde out again" she says to him.
"I.. I would not... I would never" he stammers.

"Dean, I know you did. It's all good" she smiles as the two of them head back to the motel.
"So get anything good?" he asks her.
"She had the same mark as the vic, and she wouldn't answer about it when I asked. So I guess we got to do some digging" she says to him.

"Sam might be a bit at the morgue, so we can have the room to ourselves" he smirks at her, and she takes Dean's hand and they rush back to the motel.

Calliope lays her head on Dean's  chest, "Sam's gonna be back soon" she says to Dean as she sits up to get dressed.  Dean grabs at her pulling her back down to the bed, "Dean, I'm not going to let Sam walk in on us, come one, we should be doing real work" she protests.
