BRO I work in a supermarket and have late finishes like all the time 😭  I'm on an early tomorrow though lmao

Shuddering at the sharp chill of February's tongue, you left work having clocked out and finishing for the day. It was late, around 23:27 to be exact, over two hours later than you were supposed to finish. Tucking your hair behind your ears in order to see through the harsh wind and rain, you were certain that your tired eyes were deceiving you.
Was that... Jotaro's car?
No, it couldn't be. The drop in temperature must have been getting to you. Shaking your head, you looked away, shielding from the weather.
You weren't expecting your husband for one, and not only that, he almost never came to pick you up. The bus stop was close by, but there was no way you were walking in this downpour.
There was a rumble of the engine as it drove towards the front of the shop, the mystery man hanging his head out of the window and gesturing with a grumpy scowl.
"Come on! Get your ass in here!" he yelled, catching your complete attention. "What are you waiting for?"
That was Kujo alright.
"JoJo!" Beaming with a relieved sigh, you ran over to the car, getting in the passenger side and out of the freezing temperature. The heating melting on your skin through your mucky uniform felt amazing, the stand user's aftershave rolling off his body almost instantly. It felt heavenly. He put his foot down, turning the car around in order to exit the car park. "Thank you, Jotaro," you cooed, leaning over to plant a smacker on his cheek, grabbing his face for extra support. The sudden affection caused him to hold his breath as he collected his thoughts, a large hand pushing you aside. Ha. He was embarrassed.
Shifting his eyes to meet yours in the rear view mirror every now and then as he was leaving the car park, you caught a hint of a blush on his cheeks.
"I just didn't want you to be walking home in this weather. Look at it."
You knew he was deflecting from what he really wanted to say, that he wanted you to get home safe, but the thought is what counts, you supposed. He was such a sweet boy. It was actually pissing down now, as well.
"Well, you've certainly made my day, Sweetheart. Work was such a drag."
"Why is it so late?" he asked gently, concentrating on the slippy road and the effortless shift of the gear stick.
"They absolutely overload me with work. There's no time to do anything in the day, and I'm stuck finishing other people's jobs before I can start my own." You paused, meeting his pensive gaze in the rear view mirror. "So, now they just think I'm lazy and incapable. And slow."
"Rough day then, huh?"
"Something like that." Smiling, you held your cheeks like a cute little chipmunk. "Ohh, but seeing you is such a nice surprise!"

Holding the door open for you, he waited for you to get completely inside before following suit and locking the door.

Bundled up in cosy, fluffy pj's, your hair scraped back and makeup scrubbed off, you settled yourself on the couch, feet aching after such a long day. Sitting in silence with your eyes shut, a weight pressed down beside you, your man sitting down next to you on the sofa. Jotaro was in comfortable clothes now himself, long, great sweatpants with a black, almost threadbare jumper that he was too thrifty to throw out. You wasted no time, bringing your feet up and snuggling into his armpit like a kitten. Groaning, you were sure you heard a slight hum of amusement, too.
"You're so needy."
"I don't care," you grinned, wiggling further up to him. "I do need you." Turning your head so you could look up at him, he glared coldly down his nose at you, but of course you took no notice. "You're my husband, nobody else's, so I need you most of all."
"You say such weird shit." Bursting out with laughter, he leaned away a little when you clambered onto his knees to pepper his face with kisses. "Fucking hell, don't start *doing* weird shit as well!"
Giggling uncontrollably, you at least got him to settle down on the sofa with you, your head on his chest. Jotaro's arm was resting on the back of the settee, legs spread apart in order to get comfortable. The TV got switched on, some sort of old film beginning.
Dropping to sleep, Jotaro happily watched the detective show in peace and quiet, no loud, wriggly wife to bother him, apart from the odd movement.

"Good grief, move off your ass, woman."
"Mmhh, what?"
Chuckling darkly, your gigantic husband leant over you from the doorway, nuzzling your nose surprisingly affectionately before kissing the tip of it.
"I said move off your lazy ass. I didn't think you'd still be lay here at 9am when I went to bed."
"Fucking... What? Have I been asleep? What time is it?" Laughing quite loudly,
"It's quarter past nine, lucky you're cute, huh?"
Cheeks burning up, he noticed, smirking to himself as he walked away into the kitchen to fix you both some breakfast. Looking around, you couldn't believe you had been so exhausted you fell asleep on the sofa! Rubbing your eyes, you yawned loudly before plodding into the kitchen in fluffy socks. He'd started boiling water for coffee, cracking eggs into a pan to scramble. Jotaro looked trim in the same joggers and long sleeved shirt he slept in, hair still mussed up from his pillow. Placing yourself on a kitchen chair, you watched as he cooked his eggs.
"So how come you left me to sleep?"
"That company are running you ragged. I've... Noticed."
"You've noticed?" Scoffing nervously, the huge pile of washing in the corner and dirty dishes littering the side stared at you in the face. "What makes you say that?" He glanced over his shoulder, glaring at you. Shrinking in your seat, you supposed you were getting stressed out. "I suppose I am a little run down."
"I'm concerned."
"I hate my job at Kameyu, Jotaro, that's the truth. It's becoming distressing. Customers are assholes, but not as much as the management." Handing you your eggs on toast, you smiled and thanked him.
"Come on. Eat your food or it'll get cold."

He didn't always show it, but he cared.
