Friday Morning

It was awesome having Damian back in the house. He'd moved out a year or so ago, and hadn't been back to visit in months since... something happened on the league mission. The boys didn't know what happened between Bruce and Damian, only that their older Brother wasn't allowed to visit the manor anymore.

Until now.

It was hard for Tim and Jason to act standoffish, they were low-key very excited to have their big brother back. Then there Was Dick, who wasn't even hiding it.

"And then- but- We went outside. And we tried them, but mine was the best. and it won, but only by a couple feet. and hers was really close."

Damian downed his water glass casually as his kid brother babbled away excitedly. Dick had a lot to tell him from the four months they hadn't seen each other.

"Dick. Quit bothering us." Jason spat over his Honey-Nut Cheerios.

"You quit interrupting!" Dick said, angry that Jason interrupted his great conversation.

Jason rolled his eyes. "You have nothing to say! You just like talking!"

"I do have something to say!"

"Then say it!"

"I am!"

Tim met Damian at the sink to wash his breakfast plate. "Honestly, You have no clue how it's been for the past four months. I constantly have to play babysitter! I've barely seen my friends because I'm constantly busy parenting and taking these two places."

Damian looked down at him. "I didn't know you had friends?"

"Ha ha. First time I've heard that one." Tim said sarcastically, splashing Damian with a little water from the tap. "But seriously. I wish you were here more, just to shed the load."

Damian looked about as surprised as he could on a Friday morning. "It can't be that bad."

Tim looked him dead in the eyes. "Dick talks like this ALL the time. and that." He jerked his thumb at the little brothers, now in a full fledged battle at the breakfast table. "Is still happening eight hundred times a day."

"That's an argument every thirty-three-point-tree seconds."

Tim stared at him. "Would you put it past them?"

"No. But I wouldn't put it past you ever."

Tim turned around to his brothers and chucked a handful of cold water at them. "Hey! Off! Bruce is leaving in an hour, don't you want him to think you can be left alone?"

"It doesn't matter what he thinks." Jason muttered. "It was his fault anyways."

Tim turned to his older brother. "See? as soon as Bruce puts you in charge, I'm going back to bed and you can handle everything."

"You're heartless, Drake."

Tim blew a kiss and took a bow as he left to go shower. He was glad to have another person around his age in the house. He got so sick of the little kids.
