Elsa's POV

I watched in horror as the wheels ripped off. The cables hanging off the edge.

At least Jack was safe.

The bus began to fall in a spinning motion towards the water.

My body slamming against the walls and windows of the bus. New bruises had formed along my arms and legs. But not broken.

I heard the bus splash into the water. Feeling it being pulled in.

Water began to shoot through the front window that I broke open.

I needed to find a way up.

I stood up as best as I could. The water was already at my toes.

I ran to the front of the bus, knowing the fire extinguisher was there.

I ran as quickly as I could, nearly slipping at the waters touch.

Then I grabbed the handle that was above the drivers seat and slammed it open, grabbing the extinguisher.

I tried to run to the nearest window. But I slipped.

The extinguisher fell out of my hands and flew to the other side of the bus.

At this point the water was almost to my waist.

I don't have enough time to grab the extinguisher!

I moved to the nearest window and kicked it as hard as I could.

It didn't break.

The water kept flowing in and I was running out of time.

I tried one more time.

The glass shattered, cutting part of my leg.

But at a time like this that didn't matter.

I held my breath and pushed myself down so I could get out.

I began to swim my way out, making sure I was careful around the broken glass that remained on the window.

Just as I was about to get out. Something tugged on my leg.

My pants had gotten stuck on a piece of metal that was sticking out from the crash.

I tried to pull and rip them off but it wasn't working.

I was running out of breath.

I looked up. The suns distorted figure shone through the water. Maybe this would be the last time I'll be able to see it.

Just as I was about to give up on struggling to do something I would never succeed on doing, something grabbed me by my arms.

I kicked and shoved. I had no idea what or who it was and I wasn't planning on finding out.

Then I made the mistake of screaming.

Water shot into my mouth and filled my lungs.

The thing continued to pull me upwards.

My eyes were shut. I was afraid of what I might see.

Suddenly I felt a cool breeze in my skin. I choked out a bit of water, gasping for air.

The thing pulled me forward onto a soft surface.

I could feel the water just at my feet. I tried to breathe but nothing was coming.

I felt something warm touch my lips and fill my lungs with air.

Then I opened my eyes.

Jack was leaning over me, just a few centimeters from my lips.

We were both dripping wet

I coughed out the rest of the water.

"You okay?" He asked. His face was burning red.

Then I realized what just happened.

I felt the heat rise to my cheeks.

Jack realized the position he was in and quickly stood up.

There was just this really awkward atmosphere. No one knew what to say or do.

"Uh. Um. T-Thanks" I said

My face burned an even brighter shade of red.

Jack put his hand on the back of his neck.

I looked back to the lake.

The bus let out some bubbles as it slowly disappeared underneath the surface of the water.

I looked up at the bridge we fell off. Everyone seems to have evacuated. Except for Jack.

"So...do you have any idea where we are?" Jack asked

I turned back to face him.

We were surrounded by a forest that laid just at the edge of the lake. The trees seemed to stretch out as far as I could see.

"Nope."

"We should start trying to find our way back" Jack said

Jack grabbed my hand and began to drag me into the forest.
