Last time: Luka explained her depressing backstory to Miku, Rin and Len.

Luka's PoV

After all of that crying, I start to feel really weak.

"Come on. We've got to go for Art." Miku said, helping me up.

"You guys are lucky.." Rin sighed. "I have Geography now."

"With me~" Len added. Rin rolled her eyes.

"Yes. Unfortunately." Rin said.

I smile a small smile at them, and then they walk off in the opposite direction.

Miku leads me to the art classroom.

"Are you feeling okay, Luka?" She suddenly asked. "You're looking a little bit pale..."

"I'm not feeling one-hundred-percent, to be honest." I admit.

Miku nods.

"Wait here for a second." She demanded. I nod at her instructions, and she disappears into the classroom. She comes out about a minute later.

"I told Sensei you weren't feeling to great. She said I should take you to the nurses office." Miku said, taking my hand and leading me to the room.

"M-Miku-!" I stutter.

"Hm? Yes?" She asks.

"Are you s-sure about this..?" I ask, my voice quiet.

"Don't worry. I'll stay with you." Miku smiles, and carried on dragging me through the corridors until we come across the nurses office.

Miku slowly opens the door.

The nurse turns to face her.

"Hello?"

"Hi." Miku said. "My friend here says she isn't feeling to great. Our teacher asked if she could come in here for a little while."

The nurse nods, and Miku leads me through the room. She sits me down on one of the chairs and takes a seat next to me.

"What seems to be the problem?" The nurse asks me.

I'm suddenly lost for words. I look at Miku, hoping she can explain for me.

"She's just had a bit of an emotional breakdown." Miku says.

"What are your symptoms?" She asks me.

"I just feel quite weak, that's all." I say.

The nurse nods.

"It's nothing serious. You girls can run along to class now, but if you start to feel worse, come back here." She says.

I nod.

"Thank you." Miku says, and we leave the room.

"Last time we were in there was your head injury." I point out.

Miku nods. "Mhm."

"Has it healed yet?" I ask her.

Miku moves her bangs to reveal her wound. It still looks pretty nasty.

"Ouch.." I mutter, as we keep walking to class.

It is the end of the art lesson.

Sensei dismisses the class, and everyone leaves the room.

"How are you feeling?" Miku asks, walking over to me.

"Still not great. I think I'll call in sick to work today..." I sigh.

"If you want, I could come back with you and help take care of Iroha." Miku offers.

I smile.

"Thanks. That'd be a great help." I reply.

That's how I end up walking back to my house with Miku.

I unlock the front door, and follow Miku into the house.

"Iroha won't be back yet." I tell her. "She comes back by bus."

"Oh right." Miku nods.

"Right, I'm going to get changed." I tell her, going in my room to get changed.

A few minutes later, I leave my room and go back into the living room.

Miku studies my outfit, and lets out a
short gasp.

"Is that..?" She asks. I take a deep breath and nod.

I've purposely changed into a crop top, revealing the cut I was on about earlier.

"That looks really painful, Luka." Miku says.

"Yes, it was, and still can be." I sigh.

That's when the front door swings open, and Iroha bounces into the house.

"Hi onee-Chan! Ooh, and Miku-oneechan as well!" Iroha cheered, abandoning her bags beside the front door.

I frowned at her actions.

"Iroha, go and put your bags back in your bedroom, please." I tell her. Iroha sighs and drags the bags to her room, soon reappearing.

"So, how come Miku's here?" Iroha asked. I hesitate.

I catch Miku raising her eyebrows and nods towards me. Iroha seems to get the message, and a knowing expression appears on her face as she mouthes the word "oh."

I give Miku a suspicious glance, and she looks back at me.

"What?" She asks, smiling.

I'm about to respond, but I just shrug my shoulders and sit next to Iroha on the sofa.

Rin's PoV

I unlock the front door and rush into the house.

"LEEENN? ARE YOU BACK YET?" I yell into the silence.

No reply.

"He isn't back yet." I sigh, taking my shoes off and placing my bag on the shelf.

I skip over to the the kitchen, reach into the fruit bowl and grab an orange, peeling the delicate skin off the fruit carefully.

I'm about to take one of Len's bananas as well, but that's when I eat the front door burst open, and voices come from the doorway.

I quickly take the banana, smirking.

Len walks into the room, followed by a girl with yellow hair.

"Rin, why do you have one of my bananas?!" He yells. I tilt my head to one side and give him a sweet smile.

"What are you on about, Len-chan?" I ask.

Len rolls his eyes, snatching the banana out of my grasp.

I pout in dissatisfaction.

"You're no fun..." I complain.

Len gives me a look that says 'shut up right now', before turning back to his friend.

"I'm sorry about her..." He whispers to the girl.

I look at her. Wait a second...

Long yellow hair tied in a single ponytail on the side of her head. Clutching a phone and refusing to let go. And not to mention she's quite short.

I take a step back. The girl that had been stalking us.. is one of Len's friends?

The girl gives me a somewhat annoyed look.

"Come on, Neru.." Len says, leading the girl out of the room. I lean against the wall of the kitchen, trying to think things through.

"Neru, huh?" I say, once I hear them charge up the stairs.

I need to find out more about this girl.

And fast.
