Months had flown by and the families were getting used to the new change. Joe still saw Dianna and Demi still saw Denise and Paul but now they were getting used to their real parents too. Joe had been to a couple of football games with Paula and Cai, three generations of Jonas boys had fun while they were there while Demi often took Dianna out of the home in a wheelchair so she could get out. Dianna would be moving in with her boyfriend, Eddie, soon so he could look after her while he worked from home. The baby was progressing well and Demi was now twenty weeks pregnant, they hadn't had any problems besides the normal ones like backaches and morning sickness. Cai and Kaia were starting to understand more why mommy wasn't her normal self, because she was carrying their little brother or sister. Today was the day of their twenty week scan, they would find out if their child had grown any problems and also what they would be having. They both agreed like last time they couldn't wait till the birth to find out.

"Daddy where are us going?" Kaia questioned.

"You're not going anywhere, me and mommy are." Joe stated as he pulled his jeans up over his boxers doing the button up at the top then pulling a shirt over his head.

"Where?" She questioned again.

"The hospital to see how your little brother or sister is doing, Aunty Willa is coming over to play with you while we're gone." They didn't want to burden Denise and Paul all the time with the twins, they had them a lot over the last couple of weeks while Demi had been struggling with morning sickness so asked Willa to look after them.

"Yay!" She screamed as she exited the room to tell her brother that Willa was coming to play with them, they loved her as much as they would an Aunt. She was fun and was good with children as it was. Joe made his way out the room too smiling as she saw Cai doing Demi's laces up for her. He was slow but he couldn't help but admire his son as he concentrated his tongue sticking out the corner of his mouth. Demi too had a smile on her face cheering as he finished.

"Thank you baby boy, you really are mommy's little helper." She cooed kissing his head as Cai had a beaming smile. He was looking forward to being a big brother but he did want a brother and not another sister, he had told them enough.

Joe and Demi smiled Joe squeezing Demi's hand as their baby came up on the screen in front of them. He or she had grown a lot since they last saw him or her and they couldn't help but get a little teary. They might not have made their baby out of love at the time but this baby had only brought them together and they couldn't help but love them just as much as they loved each other and Cai and Kaia who were excited for their arrival.

"Good size baby there Demi, no wonder you've been having backache. Sometimes babies are bigger at this time but they don't grow much more throughout the rest of the pregnancy." Doctor Roberts explained to the parents.

"Maybe he or she will be bigger than Cai and Kaia when they are born." Demi grinned squeezing his hand some more. They had decided to drive a little out of town to a different hospital, not wanting to stay at the hospital who had messed them and their families around over the years. Swapping babies at birth, giving Demi medication which she was allergic too and falsely accusing Joe of domestic abuse. They hoped this place would be better for them.

"Is he or she healthy?" Joe questioned Doctor Roberts examining a little bit before coming to a conclusion about their baby's health and the gender which she marked down for record purposes.

"I'd say they are healthy, I can't see anything wrong." She begun. "Would you like to know the gender?" They both nodded their head suddenly making her laugh.

"We can't wait any longer." Demi urged smiling squeezing Joe's hand again.

"Congratulations you have a little girl." She revealed.
