It had gotten pretty late when Dianna realised Joe wasn't coming back for her like he had said so Denise had assisted her back to the house. She didn't want her falling or anything and not being able to get help. They entered the house hearing the small TV they did have playing from the living room but it wasn't too loud. They made their way into the living room seeing that Joe had fallen asleep on the couch which explained why he hadn't been around again.

"Leave him be, could you help me into bed?" Dianna inquired switching the telly off so it wouldn't disturb Joe as he remained in his slumber.

"Of course, then I'll wake Joe up and send him up to bed," Denise answered beginning to help her up the stairs making sure that she took her time. She helped her change before helping her get into bed Dianna pulling the covers up her body. "I'll be by tomorrow and I'll bring those magazines around that I was talking about earlier."

"Thanks and goodnight."

"Goodnight." Denise left the room switching the light off behind her closing the door.

Denise helped Dianna into bed before kneeling down by the couch which Joe was still asleep on. It was only then that she saw the tear stains on his cheeks, she couldn't help but admire the boy as he slept, he looked so familiar to Denise but she couldn't put a finger on where she would have known him from. She shook him gently making him groan.

"Come on Joe it's time for bed." Denise demanded softly.

"B-but mom." He mumbled rubbing her eyes.

"She's in bed already, it's still early but you'll need to get your homework done before school tomorrow." Joe nodded his head gently sitting up.

"Thanks for everything." He mumbled again standing up beginning to make his way upstairs still half asleep, Denise shook her head gently making sure that all the windows were closed and the back door was locked. She exited the house locking the door behind her pushing the key through the letter box so they could unlock the door in the morning.

Joe had gotten up normal time the next morning to get himself and his mother up before he could head off to school. Denise would come over in the day and keep Dianna company, she was often alone in the house anyway so it gave them opportunity to spend some time together. Joe threw his backpack over his shoulder as he made his way into school, he would have to go back to being alone in school again. He couldn't stand around Demi for long even if she was pregnant with his twins. He made his way over to his locker beginning to sort out the belongings he would need for his next couple of lessons until he could get back to his locker.

"Hi Joe," he heard turning around see Demi, he just turned back to his locker. "I know your mad at me but I thought I'd come over anyway."

"I'm not mad at you, I'm just annoyed at myself that I didn't see this side of you before, then I wouldn't have become friends with you and I would never have gone to this party with you then we wouldn't be having these babies! I actually feel for my kids safety because you don't even want them!" Joe stressed.

"Joe I know I deserve this bu..." Demi begun but soon got interrupted by Joe.

"Yes Demi you deserve this and I deserve for you to leave me alone. I'll come to scans with you and be in the room when you give birth but other than that and class I don't want to see you again," Joe shut his locker. "And if it wasn't clear before I'm breaking up with you." Demi watched as he walked away not even able to get a word in. She sighed knowing that she had screwed up but she couldn't hide the feelings she was experiencing. She didn't want the babies and nobody could convince her that she did. She shrugged her shoulders before walking away too.
