The next day you and Max decide to stay in to just be together after getting engaged in the most weird way ever.

You order room service for dinner and are watching tv on the couch.

Max: To be honest, I didn't think you'd ever wear that ring.

You joke: I can take it off if that suits you better.

Max laughs: No please don't, it looks great on you.

"It doesn't look good on you". You give Max a small smile.

Max: You don't like it?

Yn: It's beautiful Max.

Max: Then what is it? Is it your parents?

It wasn't at first, but now it was.

Yn: I don't have parents anymore, Max.

You know it came out bitter, but you just couldn't help it.

He stands up from the couch, reaching his arm out to you.

You take it and he gets you up to your feet.

He walks you to the window, it's a beautiful night in Italy.

He puts his arms around you from behind.

Max: Do you see those stars?

You nod.

Max: Which ones are the two brightest?

You point at them.

Max: They're still your parents, watching over you from the stars. You might not be able to see or talk to them, but they will always be watching over you.

A tear rolls down your face.

Yn: It hurts so much Max...

It's barely a whisper, you doubt if he even heard it.

Max: I know it does... I'm so sorry baby.

He turns you around and gives you a hug, and you cry.

Yn: I miss them so much...

He just goes through your hair with his hands, calming you down.

Max: Shall I get you some Ben&Jerry's and run you a bath after?

You give him a small smile.

Yn: I'd love that, thanks Max.

He grabs his jacket and leaves for the ice cream.

Max was so caring, you liked that, but if only she felt for him what she felt for Lando.
