You're back at the hotel, he's walking you back to your room.
Max: So, tomorrow there's a fundraiser and all the drivers will be there. I've been told I can bring a plus one, will you come with me?
Yn: I would love to, but I have to be there with McLaren so I can't sit at the Redbull table.
Max: That's fine, I understand. After the fundraiser all the drivers and friends are going to some club, wanna come?
Yn: Sure, I'll be there.
Max: Can't wait.
Yn: Max?
Max: Yes?
Yn: Thank you, for being here for me the past week and today.
Max: Anything for you.
You give him a kiss on the cheek and head inside your room.
You just want to shower, stay in, and order room service.
Lily comes back to your mind, and your heart starts aching.
He'd replaced her and it hurted so much. She couldn't handle all the pain.
The only one who'd make her feel better was Max, and that was all she needed after everything that happened.
One day later you're getting ready for the fundraiser.
You'll be there with McLaren so you decide to wear a beautiful orange dress.
You're searching your suitcase for the dress when your eyes fall on a small black box.
You open the box and look at the ring for god knows how long.
Max was alway there for her, taking care of her, being sweet to her. That's what she needed.
After staring at it for a long time you decide to put it on, it looks beautiful.
You get ready, and you know you look gorgeous.
When you arrive at the fundraiser you take place at one of the McLaren tables.
A few tables to your right you see Max at one of the Red Bull tables.
You feel your phone buzzing, it's Max.
Max: You look gorgeous tonight.
Yn: Thank you.
You put your phone away and look at Max. He's also looking at you.
You put your left hand up, wiggling your fingers.
His eyes widen when he sees the ring.
You smile at him and he smiles back at you.
Suddenly he stands up from his table and nods his head to the right.
You excuse yourself and walk after him.
You walk after him into an empty hallway.
You feel your phone vibrating, but before you can look at it Max hugs you tight.
Max: So you'll marry me?
Yn: Yes, that's kind of the point of the ring Max.
He laughs and pins you against the wall.
Max: Now I can finally do this.
He kisses you. It's a sweet and passionate kiss.
Someone coughs, it's Charles. You and Max look up to him.
Lando is standing besides Charles, looking at you.
Charles laughs: In the hallway mate, really?
Max: I couldn't wait any longer.
He takes your left hand and holds it out to them.
Their eyes fall on the ring.
Charles: Are you two-?
Max smiles: We are.
Charles: That's great guys! Congrats!
Lando looks at you and your stomach drops. He hasn't said a word.
Yn: Thank you Charles.
Lando: I've got to go and find Lily.
Your heart aches again. However it does confirm you've made the right choice to be with Max.
He doesn't care about you.
Charles and Lando walk away.
Max: We'll celebrate after the fundraiser, baby.
The word baby makes you think of the way Lando said it to you on the boat yesterday.
You and Max return to your seats, not wanting to stay away for too long.
You grab your phone and open the text you got on your way to the hallway.
It was from Lando.
Lando: I can't take my eyes off you tonight.
Ouch.
