the feast was gloomier than you remembered, with the news of voldemort being back being in the prophet and 100% real, the people who didn't believe harry were now scared shitless.
voldemort really was back, and this meant change. change everywhere. muggle and wizarding world alike.
but you weren't sure you were ready for change. not this kind of drastic change, anyway. it all felt overbearingly overwhelming.
but you push back those feelings, walking alongside hermione, ron, and harry towards hogwarts express.
"i've been thinking about something dumbledore said to me"
you look back at harry, "what's that?" you ask.
"that even though we've got a fight ahead of us... we've got one thing that voldemort doesn't have"
"yeah?"
"something worth fighting for"
you smile slightly.
