Lexi's POV
I'm at the airport in Spain- we just landed and I'm so excited to see Hudson.
Him and Jhorry are coming to the airport so I'm waiting with Cheryl where he told me to.
"Stay here okay? Mateo needs a diaper change,"
"Of course mom,"
She leaves and someone calls my name.
"Camilla?" I asked surprised "What are you doing here?"
"My team is cheering for team Spain- I'm guessing Riverdale made it to Globals,"
"We did, but you would know that if you didn't block me,"
"I have a new life here Lex, I thought it'd be easier for you,"
Someone picks me up from behind and spins me.
I laugh and Hudson kisses me.
"Hey baby," he says
"Hey Huds," I laugh as he slips his hand behind my back "this is.."
"Camilla right?" he asks "I've seen pictures. It's nice to meet you,"
"Who are you?" she asks confused
"Cami, this is my boyfriend- Hudson, he transferred to RIverdale a week or so after you left,"
"Boyfriend? You're a lesbian.." She says
"No I'm not, I'm bi," I say simply
"Moved on fast Topaz,"
"I'm sure you moved on faster Cam," I sigh "We have to go, but I'll see you around,"
I see Cheryl grabbing some bags from toni and we go towards them.
"Hey mam," I say taking Mateo
"Hey was that Cami?" Toni asks
"It was, and she's in one of those moods,"
"Wasn't she always," Cheryl mumbles
"I have to find you brother and cousins," Toni says "go to the bus, please?"
"We have room for Hudson and Jhorry?"
"Of course,"
I take Mateo's bag and Hudson grabs mine.
"Hudson, this is my baby brother Mateo," I say bouncing him
"He's very cute," Hudson smiles "just like his sister,"
"You're a flirt, but he is very very cute," I say adjusting him
"You want kids?" he asks
"After college yes, you?"
"Yeah, a few- maybe not 6 like your moms,"
"Definitely not 6," I laugh "I was thinking 2 or 3,"
We get on the bus and of course the harassment starts
"Not my fault none of you can keep a relationship," I laugh
"Is that mateo?" Trey asks
"No I found a random baby,"
"Shut it," he laughs
"Yes, this is my favourite brother Mateo," I say bouncing him "he has better style than most of you,"
"You're funny Topaz," Bradley says "TJ is your favourite brother,"
"Nope, Mateo is,"
"Ta Ja!" Mateo says tapping me "Ta Ja ga!"
"You're funny buddy,"
We sit down and a few minutes later my moms come in with AJ, TJ, and LJ
"Give me my baby," Cheryl says
I give her Mateo and she smiles
"Did you miss having babies in the house Mom?" TJ laughs
"Very much so, when you guys were little I felt young- now I feel old,"
"Mrs. Topaz you're not old," Trey says
"Thank you Trey, but you make me feel old when you call me Mrs. Topaz- it's Cheryl,"
"Sick," he says
"It is not, it's Mrs. Topaz," Toni says taking Mateo "sit down Cher,"
Everyone laughs and Cheryl rolls her eyes.
"It's Cheryl, to everyone- and if you have a problem with it Tones maybe they can call me Mrs. Blossom," she says sitting next to Reggie
Everyone oohs and laughs at Toni.
"You aren't even going to sit with me?"
"No and you're giving me my baby back," she says taking Mateo
Toni sighs and sits beside AJ and across from Hudson and I.
"You're in trouble," LJ teases
"She's fine," Toni laughs
"Why does Aunt Cheryl always feel old?" AJ asks
"Because she grew up fast," Toni sighs
"No it's because I'm married to a child," Cheryl yells from the front
"You're funny C,"
"Not joking baby,"
"I really got a nice wife huh?" she laughs
We get to the hotel and my moms go to check us in.
"How are you baby? We've had almost no time to catch up," I say putting my hands on Hudson's shoulders
"I'm good, we talked yesterday,"
"I know, but I missed you,"
"I missed you too,"
"I'm sorry if that was weird- with Camilla? She is in a mood, probably because she thought I'd never move on," I sigh
"She didn't know about us?"
"She would if she didn't block me on every social media platform,"
"That's okay, you met my ex and she is a psycho,"
"Yes, but Cami is way more jealous than Brianna was, I could tell,"
I see a man looking at me and Hudson notices too.
"Hey buddy, do we have a problem?" Hudson asks
"No problem," he says creepily
"Then stop staring at my fucking girlfriend,"
I recognize him and my breath hitches
"Baby leave it alone," I whisper
"I know your mother Alexis," the man says
"Yes sir," I stutter "Hudson lets go,"
I grab his hands and run over to my moms.
"M-mom," I stutter almost in tears "Rielly Tremblay,"
"What, where?"
He's still looking at me when I point.
"TT get your team upstairs," Cheryl says
"Lexi, what's wrong?"
"He shot my mom in junior year,"
Hudson starts walking over to him and I sigh
"You have an idiot for a boyfriend," Toni says
"Trust me I know,"
I catch up to him and ask him to not do whatever idiotic thing he's about to.
"Dude, just leave the Topaz's alone- haven't they gone through enough?"
"She ruined my life," he spits at him "Toni sent me to American prison- that changes a man,"
"Sir, just leave it alone okay? There's no reason to be around them or talk to them at all,"
"My son plays for team Spain,"
Great.
"And team Spain is staying 4 hotels over," he says "leave. Now."
"No," he challenges "I bet your girlfriend is a whore just like her mother,"
They argue for a minute before bringing up my painkiller issue.
"How would you even know that?" I snap
"One of the cheerleaders told my son,"
Camilla.
Hudson calls a police officer over and explains everything, and the officer agrees and escorts him off the hotel property.
"Babe you shouldn't have done that,"
"I had to Lexi,"
"Thank you, but he's so dangerous," I say hugging him "I don't want you getting hurt again,"
"Okay, I'll just make sure that he doesn't go near you and your moms and your siblings,"
"No because that will get you shot," I say "my moms hired private security, they fly in.. 3 days,"
"That's 72 hours where that asshole can harass your moms. Lexi, I've never seen Toni like that,"
I sigh and nod.
"I have to go upstairs, I think i'm going to have a seizure,"
"Okay, I'll walk you up?"
He nods and we go up the elevator and then to his room.
"If you wanna come in, Jhorry's making food,"
"Okay,"
"I'll be a few minutes baby,"
I nod and Jhorry and I watch TV.
"Is this his first one since Miami?" I ask Jhorry
"I think he's had a couple- but he's okay,"
"He never really talks about it,"
"Brianna really messed him up about the whole thing.. I'm surprised he told you about this one,"
I hear a crash from the other room and jump.
"Should I.." I start
"LEX?" Huds yells
I open the door slowly and see he knocked over some books.
"Hey babe,"
"Hey Huds,"
"Come sit?"
I nod and sit next to the bed and put his head on my lap.
"How are you feeling?"
"Okay, it's just better not to stand up for a few minutes,"
I smile and kiss his forehead
"Why don't you talk about your seizures with me?"
"Because I don't want you worried about me,"
"And.." I start
"I don't know,"
"That's alright,"
I play with his hair and he smiles up at me.
"Wanna walk around Spain?" He asks
"I need to go to my room first, but yes,"
I help him up and him and Jhorry come up to my room.
"Your room is way bigger than ours,"
"I don't know who I'm sharing with," I sigh "but I always get a suite since technically I'm not supposed to be with any of the football guys, and I can't be with the cheerleaders since that's always how my moms got in trouble,"
I go into my bedroom and all my team USA stuff is here.
"Awe this stuff is so cute," I say picking up the jacket
I look through some of it and find a sports bra.
"Awe babe- look how nice this is," I say
"Hey, hey, hey," AJ says coming in "no opinions on sports bras,"
"AJ how the hell did you get in here?" I ask
"Hey roomie," he says "nice to see you too,"
"Roomie?" I groan
"Me you tony and LJ!" He says "you won the party room,"
"I won a one way ticket to hell," I sigh "what did I do?"
"Your mom doesn't want you to have sex," LJ says
"Hudson's too scared of Toni," Jhorry teases
"Everyone be quiet," I sigh
"Wanna head out?" Hudson asks
"Let me change and then yes," I say kissing his cheek
I grab a white USA football shirt, black spandex shorts and red jacket.
I go to the bathroom, change, and try and figure out what to do with my hair.
I go back into my room and look around in my bag
"Lex you good?"
"My hair looks like shit," I sigh looking for a hair tie
"No it doesn't,"
"Yes it does,"
I find my hair ties and put my hair in a ponytail.
"Ready to go baby?" I ask
He nods we head out with Jhorry and LJ.
"Have you seen Camilla yet?" LJ asks
"Ya, she flew in today too- she was at the airport,"
"Flew in?"
"She's from Barcelona, not Madrid," I laugh "she's cheering here,"
"She's over there, with some of the Team Spain guys," he nods
I look over and she's looking at me.
"Topaz!" She yells
"Great," I sigh "babe come on,"
Hudson grabs my hand and follows me over to all of the Spainish boys and cheerleaders
"Hey Cami,"
"Lexi, these are my friends in Spain," she says
She introduces all of them and I say hi.
"Lexi and I dated back in America,"
A boy says something in Spanish and they all laugh.
"Actually, we're dating now," Hudson says
"Español?" One asks
"I'm half Hawaiian, half Spainish, I grew up speaking Spanish," he says "Lexi and I are dating now,"
"Alexis, can we talk alone for a sec," Cami asks
I look at Huds and he nods.
"I'll go talk with Jhorry and LJ,"
I nod and cami and I walk 15 feet from the Spain group
"I'm guessing you're out?" She says secretly handing me a baggie
"Actually.. I don't take them- not anymore," i say "I was getting too hooked on them,"
"My cousin.."
"That was a mistake,"
"Why? Let me guess- your boyfriend,"
"He found the pills and told my moms,"
"Great," she laughs "this is a smaller bag- just hide it,"
"Cami drop it, ive changed since you left Riverdale," I say "why did you block me? And TJ?"
"My lifestyle changed too Lex, and I thought you wouldn't wanna see it?"
"Well. You were the first person I wanted to talk to after I thought I had feelings for Hudson- but you blocked me, and I had no one to figure that out with," I say "I thought you said we'd always be friends- but the more time I thought about us.."
"I still love you Lexi,"
"Cam.." I sigh "I'm sorry but I don't love you anymore,"
"Bullshit.."
"Camilla- you got me hooked on painkillers, you.. you always made me stressed about how I look and what I need to feel," I say "you and I both know that our relationship was.. toxic at times,"
"You never complained," she says
"Because I never knew what it meant to be in a relationship," i say "you never looked at me the way Hudson looks at me,"
"Lexi I love you,
"You love the idea of me, that my moms have money and that everyone knew me," I say "you even told Emma that you wouldn't have even noticed me without my name being all over the school,"
"C'mon Lexi,"
"You asked me out the day after I told you I wanted to play quarterback,"
"That's a coincidence,"
"No it isn't," I say "you wanted the love story like my moms had, but it wasn't all that great. That boy you're hanging out with- his father shot my mom within inches of her life,"
"Just.. take the pills Lex, you need them,"
"No I don't,"
She argues and won't let me leave so I grab the bag.
"Happy?" I ask storming past her
I go over and hug Hudson.
"Hey, what's wrong?"
I show him the bag and he takes it
"Did you take any?"
"No, I promise,"
He throws it out and shrugs
"Then you're okay,"
