"Hey! Wait for me!" You shouted at the moving train as you quickly followed it
You continued chasing it until the end of the station, clutching your ticket as someone bumped into you
"Sor- (Y/N)?"
"E-Ed?"
The two of you looked at each other for a second as Alphonse told his brother they needed to leave. he nodded and the two took off running.
You followed them, recklessly jumping onto Ed's back.
"(Y/N) WHAT ARE YOU THINKING!?" Ed shouted as he looked at you.
"Trying to get on the train, you shrimp."
Holding in his short rant, Ed sighed, as you grabbed onto the iron bar that was in the last cart of the train, jumping on and helping the brothers up.
You all smiled at each other, walking inside the train and picking the nearest open seat as possible.
You sat down, leaning your head against the wall as you looked out the window, Ed sitting next to you and Al across, the three of you were breathing heavily.
"I can't breathe to well.." you managed to speak as you closed your eyes slowly.
"(Y-Y/N), Don't Die!" Alphonse stated with a worried expression. Ed's eyes widened as he looked at you worriedly, the two brothers leaning towards you.
You had all been friends for the last 5 years, and according to your knowledge the brothers didn't want to loose anyone else presides to them.
The two nodded slowly, as you got into a comfortable position in your little corner and fell asleep.

"Aww.. I know brother likes to sleep while on train rides, but I think he fell asleep on purpose." Al chuckled softly as he watched his brother and (Y/N) sleep peacefully.
The female alchemist had rested her head onto the fullmetal alchemist's shoulder, where he had his head resting onto hers.

"They look so cute together.." The younger brother whispered quietly, "when will they finally be a couple!?"
The train came to a stop as the random magical whistle blew, waking up the two young alchemists.
Both of their fluttered open, slowly realizing their position.
(Y/N) lifted her head off of Ed's shoulder, and looked into his golden eyes. They looked away from each other, with a tint of pink on each other's cheeks.
Al chuckled happily, "ok, let's go."
The three alchemists walked off the train, heading to the eastern command center. Mainly because Ed & Al had yet another report to make and you had to talk to Mustang about the state alchemist exam.
Although you were some-what of a trainee, you had lots of help learning about alchemy from the Elric brothers and your father, who was a state-alchemist as well.
Your type of alchemy was kind of rare, no one that you've known had even seen- or known about it.
Lightning alchemy.
You took lightning from thin air, and could sculpt it into anything.
A sword, hammer, scythe, anything.
The good thing about it was that it would never damage you.

You stepped inside of Mustang's office, kind of nervous. he had never seen or talked with you with you alone- you had always come with another person.
"Y-Yes Mustang?"
"Your here for the exam, correct?"
You nodded, he chuckled
"Congratulations, your in. I told the Furhur about you and your alchemy; he's excited."
You nodded, giving him a wide smile, then turned to leave.
"(Y/N)."
"Yes?"
"Study under the Elric's, and make sure you pass. You'll liven up this place a lot with that alchemy of yours, and that you would be one of the first female state alchemists."
You gave him a thumbs up, "got it."

You walked into your apartment, and cracked open one of your alchemy books that you had checked out at the library.
"Hey (Y/N), where do you want these books?"
"Set 'em over here."
The Elric's walked in, setting various alchemy books down by the table that you were sitting at.
Alphonse sat to your left,
And Edward sat to your right.
"So what do you want to start with?" Ed asked, setting down his red coat and cracking open a book.
"Because I already know a lot of this stuff from you guys- Anything. Start with whatever."

You closed your book, and got up from your seat, stretching.
You grabbed a cup of water and quickly went and changed into some random PJs.
Randomly, you sat onto the counter, looking into the small, dark apartment.
"Do you mind if brother sleeps in the spare bed?" Al asked, carrying his asleep brother.
"Not at all."
You got off the counter and walked into your room, and tried to fall asleep.

You heard footsteps walk past the door to the room.
Curious, you got up from your bed and followed him.
Only to be lead to the sweet hot Edward getting a glass of water.
"Did I wake you?" He asked, taking a sip from the cup.
"No, I just can't sleep."
Ed placed his now-empty cup into the sink, as he placed his arm onto your shoulder, the two of you walking into a random room.
((*Cough* yours *cough*))
You laid down onto the bed, were Ed laid down next to you.
The two of you got into the blankets as Ed stoked the back of your head.
"Ya know.." He smiled, closing his eyes and pulling you closer to him, your head resting onto your chest.
"I love you."
He kissed the top of your head, as you slowly shifted your head upward and kissed his lips softly.
"I love you too."
The two of you fell asleep, as you woke up to a very happy alphonse and a very happy pocket watch.

Sense I said that (Y/N)'s dad was a state alchemist, and when I was writing when (Y/N) was talking to Musty, I was really tempted to have Roy magically married to Riza and you be their child.
