I think I like photos too much. I want to remember everything. I want to be able to show my gran kids photos of my friends and telling them the stories of all the things we did. It's important to me to remember exactly how I felt at any given moment. I'm impulsive, impressionable maybe even a bit rebellious but in the end whenever we are doing something worth remember I'm always at the edge of the group looking in through the lens of a camera. I want to look back on how I looked and laugh at how I thought that braided hairstyle was attractive or how completely happy I looked with my lopsided smile. Photos are like a time capsule that can describe a moment with a quick glance. I want to capture things how I want to remember them. I want remember when's. I guess that's why I collect books so I can make my children read them so that they can be plagued by the tantalisingly impossible philosophical revaluations. Feel the same pain John Green made me feel. Feel the same realisation that we are all monsters taught to me through fiction by Julie Kagawa. It's important to remember the past with the future in mind.
