Chat Noir was on his way to meet with the last person the team needed. He had an excited feeling in his chest, probably because of you getting your memories back. All he wanted to do was shower you with love, but, he supposed saving Paris was equally important. In a short amount of time, he arrived at none other than Nino's house. "Now, how should I go about this?" Chat Noir asked himself. All of the possible outcomes played out in his head until he got a perfect idea. He jumped up and knocked on Nino's window, waiting for him to open it.
It took a moment, but Nino finally opened the window. The first thing Nino did was make a confused expression, which was to be expected. "Hey, Bro. Like, who are you? And like, why are you here?" Nino asked. The answer would seem unnaturally calm if it wasn't coming from Nino. "Like, bro, open this, " Chat Noir said, tossing Nino the miraculous box. Nino, surprisingly without hesitation opened the box. Chat Noir would have told him this is why people who aren't cautious get killed, but he couldn't complain. Per usual, the same thing happened with every other miraculous, causing Wayzz to come out.
Nino had an expression that was a mix of surprised and dumbstruck. He just stared at chat Noir for a moment, probably not sure how to process anything. "Chat Noir?" Nino asked. Chat Noir nodding, knowing now that Nino needed help. "Carapace, Ladybug and I need your help, " Chat Noir said. "I'm down to help, Dude!" Nino responded, enthusiastically. "Wayzz, Shell on!" Nino yelled, transforming into Carapace. Chat Noir was almost surprised he remembered how to transform so quickly, but nonetheless, he was grateful for Nino's cooperation. With Carapace now by his side, Chat Noir began running to meet up with you.
While Chat Noir and Carapace were making there way to you, you had already met up with Rena Rouge and Queen Bee. Since you were Ladybug now, they'd address you as such. "Hey, Ladybug? Where's Chat Noir? And wasn't Lady Disguise supposed to get him?" Rena Rouge asked. "Chat Noir will be here soon after we defeat this Akuma I'll explain everything!" You responded. Just then, the fairy flew over to you. "I don't know who any of you pests are, but I'll fix you once and for all!" They yelled, pointing their staff at the three of you.
"Watch out!" You yelled as the fairy-like person tried to turn one of you into flower petals. Queen Bee managed to dodge, while you saved Rena Rouge and yourself by pushing her out of the way. In your head, you started to think of a plan including Chat Noir and Carapace's powers. "Think think think..." you mumbled to yourself. Just then, you heard a familiar voice you were grateful to here. "A little kitty told me you were looking for us, " Chat Noir said, who was standing next to Carapace. "Chat Noir! And, uh..." before you could think of anything, the person responded "carapace."
"Right, Carapace! I'm glad you guys are here!" You said. In order to complete your plan, you needed to figure out what you were going to get from your lucky charm. It was like the final puzzle piece, nothing is complete without it. "Lucky charm!" You yelled, tossing your yo-yo into the air. You felt a wave of nostalgia run over you, it had been a little bit since you used lucky charm. It felt somewhat relieving to be able to use it again, even though it wasn't too long ago. In return, a bag of fake gemstones dropped into your hand. They were the kind you could peel the backs off of and stick to things, usually for craft purposes. You scanned your surroundings, coming up with a plan that would work somewhat. With the new addition of superheroes, it shouldn't be very complex. "Chat Noir! Where do you think the Akuma is?" You asked. Chat Noir looked up at the fairy for a moment. "Hmm... Maybe the flower around their waist!" Chat Noir said. "Good eye, Chaton!" You responded. "It looks hard to get off, though!" Chat Noir said. "Don't worry... You can use your cataclysm!"
After a moment, you came up with a plan. "Chat Noir! Give me your tail!" You said. Chat Noir nodded, and without any hesitation, he handed you his "tail" which was more so just a belt. In any other context, that would have sounded strange. But, given that this was superhero stuff it was fine. "Okay, here's the plan!" You said, gathering around everyone else. "I'm gonna add these gems to this belt. Rena Rouge, you use your mirage to make the illusion of a movie theater screen and a bunch of people! The illusion of distracted people will most likely distract the fairy! Afterward, Carapace will use his shell-ter to protect Rena and himself. I'm gonna go up to the fairy and attack them with this! Since it's so shiny, it will be distracting and gain their focus! Afterward, Queen Bee will use her venom to paralyze the fairy! Then, finally, Chat Noir will use his cataclysm to destroy the flower!"
The plan was long, but everyone seemed to understand just fine. "Alright, everyone ready?" You asked. Everyone nodded in sync, fist bumping. "Let's go!" You said. Rena Rouge took her flute and lifted it up to her mouth, yelling "mirage!" And playing a short melody on the flute before making an illusion appear in front of all of you. It was exactly as you'd pictured. An outdoor movie theater with lots of distracted people. It seemed to draw the fairy's attention, like a moth to a light. "Perfect, " you whispered. In the meantime of this, you started to quickly attatch the gems to the belt. Carapace had grouped together with Rena Rouge, and afterward, he used shell-shock.
Just then, you finished up decorating the tail and made your way over to the movie theater. "Hey, pixie! Over here!" You said, waving the belt around. "Hey, I'm not a pixie! And what is that?! Give me it?!" They yelled, pointing their staff at you. The distraction was perfect. It was almost unbelievable how easily they fell for your trap. But, they were brainwashed people with manipulated feelings, so you supposed it wasn't that surprising. While you were distracting the fairy, you could hear Queen Bee yell "venom!" Shortly after, the fairy became paralyzed. Success was practically guaranteed at this point. "Cataclysm!" Chat Noir yelled, placing his hand on the flower and destroying it.
"No more evil doing for you, little Akuma, " you said, turning your yo-yo into a net. "De-evilizing time!" You yelled, capturing the Akuma. After the Akuma was purified, you released it, saying "so long, little butterfly." You grabbed the bag of fake gems and tossed it into the air, yelling "miraculous Ladybug!" Which turned everything back to normal. You couldn't help but feel overjoyed, this odd sense of completion filling you. Rena and Carapace gathered around you shortly after. "Great work, team!" You said, grinning at them all. "Ladybug, do we need to give our miraculous back?" Rena Rouge asked. You shook your head. "No... I suppose I owe you all some explaining, huh?" You said.
"We're all going to transform back, So I can't explain right now. Everyone, I need you all to meet me at the top of the Eiffel tower tonight. From there I'll explain everything that's going on, and that's a promise, " you said. "You got it, Bro, " Carapace said. "Let's say.... midnight, does that work?" You asked. You knew it was late, but there wasn't as big of a likelihood that one of you would be caught if it was that late in the night. "So, yes, you can all keep your miraculous, " you said. "But, you should probably all go back, you'll detransform any second, " you said. "You're right, peace out!" Carapace said, running off. This was followed by a "you're the best, thanks, Ladybug!" From Rena Rouge and an "I knew I was destined for this!" From Queen Bee.
After they all left, you turned back to Chat Noir, lifting your fist up. "Pound it!" You said. Chat Noir didn't hesitate, and fist pumped you back. There was something so rewarding about doing that, maybe it was just the fact that interacting with Chat Noir made your heart flutter. "Well, see you, Chat Noir-" you said, but before that, he covered your lips with his finger. "Shh... No, (Y/N), please. Can we talk, just for a little bit?" He asked. It was strange he was calling you (Y/N) while you were in your suits. But, regardless, it was hard to resist to him. Besides, you wouldn't pass up that offer for a million bucks.
So, you followed Chat Noir to a good hiding spot and detransformed. Before you could say anything else, Adrien grabbed your face and pressed his lips against yours. It was the kind of kiss your heart melted for, knowing it was him only made you even happier. You kissed back, not even questioning it. It had been a long time since you were able to do this. Well, not necessarily, but it felt like a million years. After a minute, he finally pulled away. "(Y/N), I don't even know how to describe how happy I am to see you... How happy I am that you're here, " Adrien said. "When I thought I had lost you, I had no idea what to do with myself. Of course, there are other people I care about. But, There's nobody that makes me feel the same way you do, " he continued.
"The type of love I feel for you is nearly indescribable, I've never felt this way about anybody. No... It would be impossible for me to feel this way about anybody except you, " Adrien said. At this point, he was pretty much just rambling about how much he loved you. It wasn't like you minded that, in fact, it only made you more grateful to see him. "(Y/N), I love you. And, I promise to never take that back. I can't imagine a time where I wouldn't care about you. The amount of things you've done for me... I can't put it into words..." he paused for a moment, thinking of the right word to say. "You're ethereal, (Y/N)."
You felt like you were on the verge of tears despite the fact his words only made you happy. "Adrien I... I love you so much. So so so so so much, " you said, grasping his hand. "I don't think I've ever thanked you enough for all of the sacrifices you've made for me. All of the things you've said to motivate me. I can't even begin to express how grateful I am to have you, Adrien. If I hadn't met you, I can't imagine where I'd be right now. So, thank you, Adrien, " you said. Right after you finished that, you embraced Adrien in a tight hug. The embrace you shared at that moment was different then the other times you'd hugged each other before. It felt so passionate like all you could feel was happy.
You had never been this happy before, not ever. You didn't ever think your life would reach this state. Happiness was an ideal fantasized by so many people, and it's saddening how many humans don't get to experience that feeling. You knew there were a lot of rough points ahead, but you were more than happy to experience them side by side with Adrien. Because, Adrien was more than just your boyfriend, as cliche as that sounds. Adrien was your partner in fighting crime, your best friend. Your relationship was so special to the both of you. It's crazy how a bond can be formed like that, and yet, somehow it was.
Of course, happiness is more so a reward. And, unfortunately, rewards can be stolen.
