"yes, how can i forget her b'day. The last three years that i have been with nandu. I and abhi never got to be with her on her bday. She used to take a week leave and just gets disappear somewhere.",mukti said them.
"Choti u knew mukti from before.", cabir asked her.
"She was with me in london. U remember i used to tell u about another friend other than abhi.", nandini said and cabir nodded.
"Cabir how did u never got to meet mukti in London?",manik asked him.
"I usually used to go london during holidays to meet choti as she refused to come india and at that time mukti used to come to meet u guys and during her b'day. We used to go for a trip. So i never got a chance to meet mukti but i met abhi a few times.",cabir explained him.
"Bhai one more question.", nandini said looking at him.
"How did u knew i was here, i never told u the address?", nandini asked him.
"Well actually i didn't know u were here. I thought to meet manik and mukti and everyone and then call mom to know where u live and surprise you.",cabir said her.
"So u were coming to meet me at the end. Manik is more important to u than me.", nandini asked sadly.
"Obviously bull.",manik said immediately and gets a glare from nandini.
"No it's not like that choti. U know me na.",cabir said her trying to make her understand.
"But u ignored me from morning. I called u many times ,also that stupid P.A of urs also didn't receive any calls of mine and after all this u didn't call me back and thought to visit manik before me. I was very worried for u but u don't care.", nandini said and turned away.
Cabir and mukti hid their smile seeing her angry.
Manik was suprised to see her acting like a kid.
"Bull, are u jealous?",manik asked her.
"No", nandini said and turned away.
"U are lying.",manik teased her.
"Okay fine i am very jealous.", nandini accepted looking at him.
Cabir chuckled along with others and wrapped his hand around her.
"Baccha i am sorry but I hadn't meet them for so long and i really missed all of them and u don't need to get jealous of manik. U are always more important to me than him.",cabir said her.
"U are lying.", nandini said trying to move away.
"U don't believe this than u won't even believe that i got ur favourite chocolate and its in my jacket.",cabir said her getting nandini attention.
"Really?", nandini asked him.
"U don't believe me na?",cabir asked her.
"Bhai", nandini said to him impatient.
"Here",he said passing the choclate to her.
Nandini hugged him and kissed his cheeks.
"Thank you so much. I love you.",she said to him.
Mukti smiled.
Manik gets a call. He sees pooja name and gets a bit tensed.
All looks at him.
"Excuse me.",he said and left to a corner.
The trio gets busy in talking.
"Yes pooja tell me.",manik said on the phone.
"Sir, i am sending u a email. I think u should check it. They are the suspects.",pooja said on the phone.
"Is it serious?",manik asked her.
"Yes sir as many of them are the trusted employees and we aren't sure that among them who is the real culprit. So we have to check on everyone's background and that may hurt the employee.",pooja said him.
"I understand what u are trying to say pooja but i think we should act professionally in this and think for the betterment of the company rather than emotions of them and if they are true than i think they will surely cooperate with us.",manik said her.
"Okay sir. I will check more in details and keep u updated.",pooja said and cut the call.
He looks at the phone for a new notifications and walks to his friends.
They were laughing on some topic but kept quiet seeing him coming to them lost.
"Manik?",cabir called to get his attention.
Manik looked at him and changed his expression.
"All okay?",cabir asked him.
"Yes just waiting for a msg.",manik said to him sitting on the sofa and a msg came up.
He opened the email and read the names and realised something.
"Nandini",he called and she looked at him suprised.
"Wow manik nice progress, finally nandini and not bull.", nandini said to him.
"U never told me.",manik said her looking angry.
All got serious seeing him angry.
"What?", nandini asked him.
"That u are nandini murthy, daughter of sameer murthy, sister of cabir murthy and the heiress of murthy industries.",manik said her angry.
"Manik...", nandini said confused trying to understand why he is so angry.
"Bhai its okay na. Maybe she forgot and we never had any conversation about that. We are her friends and it doesn't matter whose daughter she is. No big deal bhai.",mukti said him causally to which cabir and nandini too agreed.
"As her friend, i don't care whose daughter she is but as her boss, i do care and its a big deal for me. ",Manik said to them angry.
Nandini now realised why he looked angry. Cabir and mukti gasped in suprise.
"Bhai u are nandu boss.",mukti asked him.
Manik nodded still angry.
Cabir looked at nandini.
"Choti i told u before only to tell the truth right then why didn't u?",cabir asked her.
"Nandini i didn't expect this from u.",manik said hurt and angry.
Nandini was about to say something in defend but was cut in middle.
"Hello guys.",dhruv and alia shouted from the door.
All four turned to them.
"Cabir?",both alia and dhruv said in suprise and came inside.
They sensed seriousness between everyone.
"What's wrong?",dhruv asked looking at them.
"We thought u guys would have been happy seeing us and with cabir present here, u guys should have lots of fun but u look so serious. What happened?",alya asked them.
Manik comes near dhruv and alya and hugged them.
"I am a bit busy, will meet u guys afterwards properly. ",He said looking at them.
"Manik u are okay na.",dhruv asks him.
Manik nodded at him and then glared at nandini.
"I am in my room. Don't disturb me for a while.",manik said and left to his room.
"Bhai, i told him the day u asked me to and he even said that he knows everything. I think he misunderstood that day. Trust me bhai, i never lied to him.", nandini said to cabir.
"Its okay choti. When he gets normal, try talking to him and he will understand.",cabir said to her.
She hugged him and he kissed her forehead.
"Go to ur room. I will come and talk to u in some time.",cabir said her and she nodded.
She looked at dhruv and alya.
"Sorry.",she said to them and hugged both of them and left to her room.
"What's going on?", dhruv asked.
"Will tell u but won't u hug me first?",cabir asked with a smile.
Dhruv nodded and hugged him.
"Missed u man.",dhruv said with a smile.
"Me too.",cabir said and both joined their fisted hand.
"Cabir?",alya called to get his attention.
"Come here baby.",cabir said and she hugged him.
He kissed her forehead.
"How are you?",he asked her.
"The same hot and sexy.",alya answered and all laughed hearing her.
They sat on the sofa.
"What happened to manik and nandini?", dhruv asked him.
"And nandini is ur sister", alya asked him suprised.
"Yes.",cabir said to them.
He then explained everything that happened between manik and nandini.
"I hope they both sort this out.",alya said and all nodded.
"U all must be tired by the journey. Go and rest for sometime. ",Mukti said them and they nodded.
"I will go and see choti.",cabir said and moved to nandini room and rest went to their rooms.
Cabir knocked at her door and comes inside.
"Choti?",he called and smiled seeing her standing in balcony.
He walks upto her.
"Bhai he didn't talk to me when i went to him. He is not ready to listen to anything.", nandini said him sadly.
"He just shut himself when he is angry as he don't want to hurt anyone in his anger. He will be fine by tomorrow and if not then i will talk to him.",cabir said her and she nodded.
"Now let's have some bro-sis time.", cabir said with a smile which she returned.
They sat on bed comfortably and got busy in talking about the past one month and shared memories with each other.
They all came for lunch including manik but he didn't look at nandini. He talked with others except her.
They all sat on the sofa and got busy in talking.
Manik's mood was a bit fine but he still ignored nandini.
"So for how many days u are here?",dhruv asked him.
"For a week i guess?",cabir said him.
"Just a week but u said that u will stay here only and we both will shift to our house.", nandini said him.
"Yes i remember. After a week i will go to delhi for two days and then come back and we will stay together.",cabir said her.
"Really?", nandini asked and he nodded.
"Means u will leave this house in ten days.", mukti asked sadly.
Manik who was talking with dhruv got attentive hearing it. He looked up to hear nandini answer.
"Yes but its not like i will go to some other city. I will be just few minutes away from u.", nandini answered looking at mukti.
They got back to their talks where dhruv and alya shared about their New York trip. Nandini and mukti noticed some difference in their way of talking.
Nandini leaned near dhruv.
"I want to know everything that happened between u both in details afterwards.",she said him and he nodded.
Mukti did the same with alya who too nodded at her.
"Its already seven. Time passes so soon.",cabir said and everyone nodded.
Mukti realises something and look at nandini and mouthed abhi.
Nandini understands and looked at manik and nodded at mukti.
"Mukti why are u here?", nandini asked her.
Mukti gets confused and others were suprised.
"Arey u only told me na that abhi had to talk to u about something and u are going on a dinner with him and he will pick u up at 8. Go and get ready,its already time.", nandini said to her.
Mukti looked at manik.
"Bhai?",she asks.
"He called before but i missed the call. Maybe to ask about it. U can go but make sure u are back before 12.",manik said her and mukti nodded and hugged him.
"Thank you.",she said him.
"Alya will u help me to get ready.",mukti asked.
Alya nodded and left with her.
"I want to know everything going on between u and mukti, not to forget this abhi guy.",cabir said in nandini's ear.
She looked at him surprised. Cabir gives a knowing smile to her.
"Nandini now that cabir is also here and ur bday is in a week then why don't we plan a outing.",dhruv suggested.
"That's a good idea. Let's go somewhere , what do u think?",cabir asked nandini.
"Bhai, work?", nandini said him.
"Nandini ask ur boss for a leave na. A week leave won't harm his company. Tell him that its ur bday and if he don't agree than i will talk with the arrogant boss of urs.",dhruv said with the flow.
Nandini and cabir looked at him shocked while manik was glaring at dhruv.
Dhruv asks what through his eyes to nandini. She pointed towards manik.
Dhruv looks at him and realises his words.
"I am sorry manik, I forgot that u are nandini boss.", dhruv said and earned another glare.
"Sorry",he said and ran away seeing manik approaching him.
Abhi comes at 8 and after a brief talk with cabir and other boys leave with mukti.
"Just to take u out for a dinner. They gave me so much instructions. I wonder how they will react if i date u.",abhi said to mukti and gets a suprised look from her.
He keeps quiet and walks to his car and they left.
The others had their dinner and went to their rooms.
Manik talked with pooja and got the same reply.
He checks the reports and sighed.
He shuts his laptop and walks out of his room. As a habit he goes to the garden and sits there.
Nandini who came down with a hope to see him in the garden and talk with him got a big smile seeing him.
She went to kitchen and made his favourite coffee and took with her to garden.
"I thought u won't come today as u are angry.", nandini said to him.
He didn't reply to her.
She forwarded the coffee and he took it without a word.
She smiled at this and sat beside him.
"So u won't talk to me.", nandini asked him and he ignored.
"Atleast hear me out then make conclusions and judge me.", nandini said to him and he looked at her.
"I will take that as a yes.", nandini said him and he sipped the coffee.
"I never lied to u manik. I tried talking to u before and u even said that u know everything. Don't u remember.", nandini said him.
"When?",he asked confused.
Nandini smiled but hid it seeing his straight face.
"I came to ur room and asked u if u know who i am and u said yes. U even said that u have checked my profile before giving me the job and u don't have any problem with it.",nandini repeated his words.
Manik thinks for a while.
"But i thought that it is just coincidence that u have the same surname. U never said that u are sameer uncle daughter.",manik said her.
"Manik i thought u knew everything after talking with u that day and if i was trying to hide it than why would i ever say u that if i work in my parents company they would just make me sign papers instead of work. Manik it was a misunderstanding and i understand why u are angry but now its cleared and i think now too its not so late.",nandini said him.
"U don't know what trouble this caused.",manik said in a whisper.
Nandini frowned hearing it.
"What's wrong manik?, U are tensed and worried about something from the morning. Tell me what it is and u can't be this angry just because I didn't tell u about dad.", nandini asked him.
"I can't, its something related to work.",manik said resting his head on the bench and looking at the stars.
"Manik u can trust me with ur secrets. I am very good in keeping it.", nandini said him.
"Yes just like how u kept the secret of mukti and abhi dinner date.",manik asked her with a smile.
Nandini looked at him suprised.
"How did u know?",she asked him.
"Ur eyes says it all.",he said her.
"Its not fair, mukti will kill me. Bhai and u both came to know about it. My eyes are not that expressive.", nandini said to him a bit irritated.
"Trust me they are very expressive.",manik said her with a smile.
"So u aren't angry anymore.", nandini asked him.
"No and i am sorry i should have heard u before only. ",Manik said her.
"Manik why did u come here ?", nandini asked him.
"Maybe i too got habituated to have a peaceful sleep only after talking to u at night here.",manik said her and both smiled looking at each other.
