You were sitting on the couch waiting for your husband Harris. He was out with the boys and said he would be home at 11pm. It was 2am now. Your baby daughter aliyah was sleeping upstairs. Suddenly the door opened and there was Harris. He kissed you on the cheek and acted like nothing happened. “you’re late” was all you said. “we got caught up in traffic”. “Harris you would be home at 11pm it’s already 2am, aliyah was waiting for her daddy. She cried cause you promised you’d put her to bed but you weren’t here.” You raised your voice a but. “omg y/n don’t be such a drama queen! I’ll put her to bed tomorrow!” “No Harris you won’t you just say you will. And then you’ll be late again.” He gripped your arm “Harris you’re hurting me”. “daddy let mommy go you’re hurting her!” You turned around and there was your daughter with tears in her eyes. Harris immediately let go of you. Your daughter ran to you and you picked her up. “Shh baby it’s okay daddy was just a little mad don’t worry sweety”. You rubbed her back. “aliyah daddy is really sorry, I’m just stupid sometimes. I love mommy so much and I promise that I’ll be home every night and me and mommy will put you to bed okay?” She nodded and sad “do you promise you’ll never hurt mommy?” This made you smile. “i promise now let’s get you to bed.” Harris carried her upstairs after she was asleep you went to bed. “i love you y/n and I’m sorry”. “it’s okay harris”. You cuddled up to Harris and fell asleep. Harris really kept his promise and some days he came home early to just watch a movie or take you guys out for dinner. You were glad you got the harris that you fell in love with back
