They were sitting in the plane.
"Bull did u informed ur parents about ur arrival.",manik asked her putting his seat belt.
"No, i thought of surprising them.",nandini said him excitedly.
Manik smiled.
The announcement of takeoff is made.
Nandini put her seatbelt and look outside the window.
After sometime, they opened their seat belts.
Manik was reading some magazines and nandini was gazing outside the window.
She got bored and turn to him.
"I am bored.",she said him.
"Hmm",manik said busy in himself.
"Are u listening to me?,i said i am bored.",nandini said a bit irritated by his ignorance.
"I listened that u are bored.",manik said still reading the magazine intently.
She pulls his magazine from him.
"What is this nandini?,i was reading something important.",he said her annoyed.
"So what should i do, u were ignoring me.",she complained him.
"Ok fine tell me what u want.",manik said looking at her.
"Talk to me.", nandini said him.
"We are talking only.",manik said her with a smile.
"Manik",she said warningly.
"Ok lets talk",he said and looked at her for sometime waiting for her to talk.
She saw him looking at him and slapped his arms.
"U are very irritating.",she said him and turned other side.
He chuckled and looked at her.
"So who are there in ur family?",he asks her.
She looks at him first narrowing her eyes searching for some kind of joke but found him genuine.
"Me, bhai and mom-dad",she said happily turning to him.
"Same like us",he said her with a smile.
"Yes but i have a grandma too ,she live in village.", nandini said him.
"Ohh",manik said her.
"Manik do u know my parents", nandini asked him.
"No I never met them but ya have listened about them through mom.",he said her.
"Do u mostly come to delhi", nandini ask him.
"Ya sometimes due to work or to meet someone.",manik told her.
"Meet someone ,who is she? ur girlfriend", nandini teased him.
"No it's not a girl and I don't have a girlfriend.",manik said her.
"Then", nandini asked him.
"My friend, he lives here so we used to meet whenever i come here.", manik said her.
"Ohh so will u meet him today", nandini asked him.
"Not possible as he is not in Delhi.",manik said her.
"Ohh",she exclaimed.
"Nandini u can meet ur parents tomorrow after we see the office building.",manik said her.
"Okay when is the meeting.",she asks him.
"Its at 7, in the hotel where we will be staying.",manik informed her.
"So it means we can go out at night.", nandini said excitedly.
"Yes we can but where do u want to go.",manik asked her.
"U will see.", nandini said him.
They both continued there talks. The pilot announced that they are about to land in delhi.
They tied there seatbelt.
The plane landed and they came out after taking their luggage.
They stood at the exit door.
"I am back", nandini said with a sigh.
Manik smiled at her.
"Come lets go",he said her and leads the way to his car.
Nandini gets seated and manik takes the key from the driver.
"U will drive?", nandini asked him.
"Yes",he said taking the seat.
"But manik u should rest, u had to attend a meeting in 3 hrs.", nandini said him.
"Chill okay, i am fine",manik said and then drove the car.
Nandini was looking everywhere and smiling.
"U look so happy.",manik said seeing her face.
"Yes because i am. U know when i came back from London i hardly got a week here before going to mumbai and i couldn't enjoy enough in that time. It just feels so good to be back here.", nandini said him.
He smiles and stops at the hotel.
He comes out and nandini comes near him.
"Come",he said her.
They moved to the reception.
"Good morning sir. Here are ur keys.",the lady at the reception said him giving a flirty smile to him.
He smiled back at her taking the keys.
She looked at nandini.
"She's with me.",he said her and she faked a smile at nandini.
Nandini smiled and followed manik.
"Manik she didn't ask u anything and directly gave the keys. Why?", nandini asked him.
"Its dad's hotel and I always stay here whenever i come to delhi. She knows me.",he informed her.
"Ohh",she said in suprise.
"Where are we going?",she ask him seeing him pressing the top floor.
"Private suit at the top floor. Dad made it for our family. The whole floor is reserved for our family. U will feel like u are at home there.",he said her and she nodded.
They reached there.
Manik opened the room.
"It's beautiful.", nandini said looking at the place.
"I know, u can take any room u want. That's my room near the staircase.",he said her.
"Thank you.",she said and took the balcony room beside his.
"U get freshened up. I will get something to eat.",manik said her and she nodded.
He ordered food and changed into formals.
Nandini came out in formals and looked at him sitting in the dining table.
"U are here, come lets have something before we go for the meeting",he said her.
She arranged the food and got seated. They ate in silence.
It was 6:30 by now.
Manik was going through the files and nandini was listening to him and noting down the points he was saying.
"Come lets go down.",he said her.
She nodded and they went out.
They were waiting in the meeting area and Mr.kumar came with his PA.
"Hello Mr. Malhotra , hope u had a nice journey.", Mr. Kumar greeted him with a handshake.
"For sure Mr. Kumar.",manik said him shaking his hands.
"And who is this lovely lady",he ask him.
"She is nandini, my designer and nandini he is mr.kumar, we are going to design his office.",manik introduced them.
"Hello", nandini said and shake hands with him.
They got seated and manik gave the presentation and they discussed about the deal.
After 2 hrs, the meeting got over.
"We are looking forward to work with you Mr. Malhotra.", Mr. Kumar said standing from his chair.
"Same here",manik said and they shake hands.
"Mr. Malhotra will u mind joining us for the dinner.", Mr Kumar suggested.
"I am sorry but we have some other plans.",manik said him.
"I understand but tomorrow breakfast with me.",he said him.
"Okay",manik said and they moved out.
Mr.kumar left and manik turned to nandini.
"So where u want to go ?",manik asked her.
"But u had some plans right.", nandini said him a bit sad.
"Ya plans with you. Now tell me where u want to go.",he asked her.
"Ok lets get changed first.", nandini said himwith a big smile.
They changed and came down.
"I will get the car.",manik said her.
"No", nandini stopped him.
"We will go in bike.", nandini said him slowly.
"Bike??",manik said confused.
"Yes please, i like bike rides at night. I used to go every night with bhai.", nandini requested him.
"Ok but where will u get a bike here",manik asked her.
"Don't worry about that",she said and then saw a man coming in bike.
"Here it is.",she said and went close to him.
The person got down and hugged her.
"Thank you so much rahul.", nandini said him.
"There's no need for a thanks. Now go and u can leave the bike here only. I will take it back tomorrow.",he said her.
She smiled at him and he went away.
"Manik what are u doing there?, Come", nandini said him seeing him lost.
"Who was he?",he asked her confused.
"My friend.", nandini said him and he nodded.
"Do u know how to ride?", nandini asked him.
"Yeah!",manik said and took the keys from her.
He sat on the bike and nandini sat behind him. Her hands were free in either side of hers.
"Do u know the ways properly.", nandini asked him.
"Yes and u can guide me if i don't",he said her and started the bike.
"So where are we going?",he asked her.
"Just move around for awhile and then we will go for dinner.",she said him and he nodded.
They moved around and nandini enjoyed looking around.
"After many days ,i am riding a bike. Thanks",he said her.
"U are welcome.", Nandini said him.
They roamed and nandini told him about the places and its speciality.
"Manik do u mind eating Street food for dinner.", nandini asked him.
"Street food??, Are u serious bull",he ask her shocked.
"Yes pretty much, why?", nandini asked confused.
"They are unhygienic and u can fall ill.",manik said her.
"So u have never ate street food",she asked him shocked.
"No",he said her.
"Then its a must to eat there today. I will make u eat the best panipuri and chat in the world.",she said him and guided the direction to him.
She stepped down.
"Bull i don't think its a good idea. U have it but keep me away from it.",he said her still not liking the idea.
"No u are eating with me.",she said sternly and dragged him to the stall with her.
"Chacha how are u?", nandini ask the stall owner.
"Beti i am fine, how are u?",he asked with a smile.
"I am absolutely fine. Now serve us two plates of panipuri.",she said him.
"Beta also came with u.",he asked her.
"No chacha",she said and looked sideways for manik.
She looked back and saw him standing a bit far.
She went near him.
"Monkey what are u doing here",she ask him.
"What!!", manik asked her shocked as she called him monkey.
"Come with me or i will call u monkey throughout the stay in delhi.",she warned him.
"Bull",manik said her trying to convince her.
"Monkey", nandini raised a eyebrow at him.
"Fine",he said her.
She smiled and dragged him to the stall.
"Beti today for the first time u came with some other guy. Is he ur boyfriend?", The stall owner asks her.
Manik looks at nandini shocked.
"No no chacha, he is a friend of mine.", nandini said immediately.
He nodded and served him.
"Do they always poke into others life, i mean why do they want to know who am i ? and why u came with me?, Their work is just to serve food to us right",manik whispered to her a bit annoyed at him.
"Manik shut up, he knows me from childhood, me and bhai always use to come to him. So he just asked out of curiosity. Don't start judging him.", nandini said and forwarded the plate to him.
He looked at nandini and see gestured him to eat.
He picks it and puts in his mouth.
Nandini looks at him hopefully and he shows a thumbs up.
They ate panipuri then moved to pav bhaji and ice-cream.
"How was it?",she asked him.
"It was great",he said her genuinely.
"Manik lets walk for sometime.",she said to him.
He nodded and they moved around.
Manik got a call.
"Bull i will come in a min, don't go anywhere.",manik warned her and moved aside.
Nandini was looking around and walking. She went in the thoughts of the previous time when she came here.
Manik was talking on the phone and coming to her.
She bumped into him and his phone fell down.
She looks at him with a amused expression.
He picks his phone and mutters under his breath "somethings never change" and then looks at her.
"Why are u amused?",he asks her a bit annoyed.
"History repeats.",she said him.
He looked at her confused.
"I met u for the first time at this place and in this way only.",she said him and realisation drawn him.
He looks around and smiles.
"Yeah",he says her.
They went back to the place where their bike was parked.
"Lets go back to hotel, we need to get up early too.",she said him and they went to the hotel and then to their room and slept.
