Rick's POV 

I guess this time you're really leaving. 

Leaning on the door I watched her zip her suit case. There was not talking her back into my arms this time. She had enough of my shenanigans. 

I heard your suitcase say goodbye
Well as my broken heart lies bleeding
You say true love is suicide

Following her down the stairs I didn't know what to say. There was nothing I could say. She was moving out, I would be here alone. I leaned on the door frame I watched as her car pulled out. Sighing I closed the door and shook my head before I plopped myself on the couch. Grabbing my guitar I strummed a couple notes.

I knew where she was going. Standing up I grabbed the guitar and my portal gun. Making a portal I went though it and landed outside of her sisters house as she was just pulling up. 

"Go away Sanchez" 

"Listen to me, one last time" 

Rolling her eyes she leaned on her car and motioned her arm for me to play. Setting the guitar strap on my shoulders I started to play again.

Looking over to her I saw the hint of a smile as she tilted her head a little. Looking down at my hands I continued. I had never  had a way with words, so here's hoping that this song gets my message through. I wouldn't know what I would do without her. Drink myself to death or go insane.

When I was done I put my guitar behind me as I walked over to her. She stood up straight as she looked at me. Before I could say anything she smacked me. Rubbing my cheek I looked at her to see her smile. Fuck that smile. I could get drunk on it. She stepped closer to me as she put her hands on my chest, grabbing my lab coat before she straightened it out a little. 

"I swear if you ever do anything stupid, miss my birthday, our anniversary, anything. I'll leave before the neurons in your brain can fire." 

Her hand went to my groin where she squeezed. I slammed my fist on the car a little as I held my breath. "Do I make myself clear?" 

I nodded quickly and she let go. Bending over a little I breathed deeply. "I hate it when you do that" 

"And I hate it when you go back on your word" 

I nodded as I rubbed the back of my neck. "I deserved that, will you come home now?" 

She looked at me before she hooked her arms around my neck, my hands finding her waist. "You know I will" 

Smiling gently I leaned down and kissed her. She kissed back I wrapped my arms around her tightly as I picked her up and looked at her. She giggled and smiled at me. "Put me down." I let her down gently and kissed her again, pulling her closer. I pulled away after a bit and she looked up at me, getting me lost in her eyes. 

"No matter what you put me through, I'm still gonna love you, Sanchez" 

"You never fail to put up with my shit, that's why I love you (y/n)."
