Chapter 108: Emos Beware
~Zane~

"Mom, I'm home." I walk through the front door.

"Zuzu... I'm so glad you finally joined a club. Now I won't have to worry so much when you go to college." Mom beams.

"Um, Mom, to be fair, I didn't sign up for it. I still don't know who did." I shrug.

"It was probably the emo lords being tired of you denying it all the time." Vylad snickers from the kitchen.

"No one asked you Vylad!" I shout.

"Either way, I'm glad my Zuzu's all grown up now." Mom cheers. "Oh, by the way, you left this in your jacket pocket." She reaches into the laundry basket and hands me my Pinkie Cake.

I gasp. "I can't believe I nearly lost you again." I hug her close to me. "I'll never leave you again."

"I'm just happy I checked your pockets first, that would have been a disaster." Mom shudders. "Alright, yo, your filthy clothes have officially been washed." Mom hands me the basket now filled with my clean clothes.

"Thanks." I begin taking it up to my room. I'm not going to bother hanging it on hangers since I'll just be packing soon anyway. I walk over to my closet to at least put them in there when I hear my door open.

Lyrvanna walks into my room, obviously not seeing me. She tiptoes over toward my hidden table on the other side of the room. How does she know about that?

I watch as she slowly picks up my tray of cupcakes. "Hey!" I shout and she drops them at the speed of light. Luckily, she drops them on the table and they remain unharmed. "How'd you know about the cupcakes?"

"Not saying." She crosses her arms.

"Tell me! Who told you?!"

"Not. Saying."

"Fine. Have it your way." I smirk and grab my phone and plug it into my speakers. I know she's a hidden away emo, or something close to it. Now all I have to do is torture her.

After it's plugged in, I grab my earplugs from my drawer. No sound gets past these plugs, even Zerenity screaming at the top of her lungs directly next to my ear. No sound at all gets through. Which is why I this is necessary for this torture session.

I evil laugh as I begin putting them in.

"Zane? What are you doing? Hey, answer--" after that I only see her mouth moving. I press play on a certain song and her face goes super pale as she stiffens up and stops talking.

I stop the song and take my earplugs out. "So... tell me who told you about the cupcakes or I'll play it again."

"No! That G-Note hurts my soul." She sniffles. "Z-Zerenity told me that you hid cupcakes somewhere in your room, she told me a while ago. Then that day she made me come over, I kind of... sniffed them out. And since I was bored I decided to steal it."

"So you broke into my house and room because you were bored."

"I didn't break into your house, Vylad let me in."

"You actually need loads of help. Get out."

"Gladly, I need to go lay down after what you did." She dashes out of the room never looking back.

Weirdo.
