Chapter 78: Don't Forget Me And Be My Friends

"You all may be wondering why you're here." I sigh as I stand on my bed.

"Are you forcing all of us to do another thing?" Travis raises an eyebrow.

"Yes." I smile down at him and the others, Dove, Zane, Lyrvanna, Laurance, Kawaii~Chan, Vylad, Katelyn, Garroth, Nicole, Dante, Aphmau, Sasha, Zenix, and Lucinda. "We're having a party with just the sixteen of us, out of our friend group, we're the only ones left and soon eight of you will be leaving."

"So, you literally dragged us into your house to have a party?" Zenix rolls his eyes.

"It's a 'please-don't-forget-me-when-you-go-college-and-to-those-of you-who-aren't-leaving-please-keep-being-my-friend-next-year' party." I beam.

"Fun name." Aphmau chuckles.

"Yep! But we should hurry because after five my dad is going to kick all the guys out. Except for my brothers."

"Oh, phew, I was scared for a moment." Garroth wipes a bead of sweat from his forehead.

"Of course Dad wouldn't kick you out." Zane shakes his head. "Do I have to be here?"

"Yes. I already bought specially made cupcakes with everyone's name in the frosting. If you don't party, you don't get yours." I gesture to the cupcakes on my dresser.

"That seems unnecessarily extra." Katelyn points out.

"I think that's awesome!" Lyrvanna, Kawaii~Chan, and Aphmau shout in unison.

"Thanks!" I beam. "Anyway, it's party time! "

"I don't call this a party." I groan. I look around to see most of the people are on their phones. "Why is no one dancing?" I brought out a large speaker to plug my phone into just for this occasion.

Lyrvanna looks up from her phone at everyone. "Come on, Dudes! Dance."

"I'd hate to break it to you, but you aren't any better." Dove rolls her eyes.

Lyrvanna puts her phone down and stands up. "Fine, I challenge you to a dance contest, Dove."

"No. I don't dance. It's basically a crime." She rolls her eyes.

"Come on! Please!" I plead.

"No way."

"I bet you're great at the robot though," Aphmau says causing us to snicker.

"What'd ya say?" Dove squints at her.

"Dovey~Chan, chill. It's a party, have some fun." She grumbles and turns back to her phone. I sigh but turn back to Lyrvanna. "I'll dance battle you."

"Bring it, shortie!" She laughs.

"Hey!" I pout jokingly before we burst out our terrible dance moves, some purposely terrible, some accidentally terrible.

"A friendship bracelet for you." I give one to Dovey~Chan. "A friendship bracelet for you." I pass one to Sasha, then Zenix, then Laurance, then Dante, then Lucinda, then Katelyn. "And finally, a sibling-ship bracelet for you." I hand it to Garroth.

"Wha-- we don't get one?" Aphmau asks.

"If all of you keep being my friend, then you get on at the end of the year, next year." I shrug.

"Are you basically bribing our friendship?" Travis raises an eyebrow.

"Yes." I don't even try to hide it.
