Chapter 57: I Know It's Not Laurance

Today's the day I find it all out! The deal between Laurance and Lyrvanna! This calls for a sleepover! Sadly, my mom is only going to let me invite girls which means I can't get Laurance's side of the story or force them to play a game where they'd end up finally confessing if it hasn't happened yet.

Are they secretly dating? Are they in love but denying their feelings? Is one of them denying their feelings? Are they not aware of their feelings? Maybe they both know but they chose to stay friends for now? Soon, I'll know!

"Lyrvanna~!" I bounce over to her in homeroom. "You're invited to my sleepover!" I turn to Dove. "And you Dovey~Chan!" I turn back to Lyrvanna. "Kawaii~Chan is invited too! So if you have any classes with her before 6th period tell her for me! I'll tell all of the other girls."

"A sleepover? Really?" Dove sighs.

"YOU HAVE TO COME, DOVEY~CHAN!" I exclaim.

"Okay, alright." She gives in as she rubs her ear.

"I might come, I don't know. When is it?" Lyrvanna asks. She might?!

"Um, it's tomorrow after school, you guys can just come home with me," I say hoping she won't have anything to do.

"Eh, I'll see but tomorrow is soon as heck." She laughs. "It isn't your birthday, is it? Because if so, I forgot, I'll just say that right now."

"My birthday's in June..." I scratch my arm feeling awkward that she forgot my birthday. "But no occasion! Just for us girls!"

"Um, okay."

"Zerenity, your friends are h--" Mom calls. I slide down the banister of the stairs and cut her off.

"Hey, guys! Come in!" I excite. Dove's here. Kawaii~Chan's here. And Lyrvanna's here. Good. Wait... what about Lucinda? Aphmau was sick and Katelyn couldn't make it. Did Lucinda forget? I guess we'll just have to do this without a truth serum potion.

Everyone but Lyrvanna knows about the plan. Now we just have to put this in motion. Laurvanna is a go!

"Anyone want to play a game called Scenario?" Kawaii~Chan asks.

"Ooh! It sounds like an acting game, is it?" Lyrvanna wonders.

"Yep!" She nods. "All you do is pull a name and the narrator pulls a scenario for us to act out."

"Fun! Can I pull a name first?"

"Go ahead."

We rigged her hat.

"I got myself... boring." Lyrvanna sighs. "Can I trade?"

"Nope! One pull per round." Kawaii~Chan instructs.

"I'll pull next!" I excite. "I got Dovey~Chan!"

Dove's eyes widen. She knows exactly who she's going to get. "I'll be the narrator! Kawaii~Chan you pull!"

"What but--" KC sighs. "Okay... Kawaii~Chan got Laurance~Kun!"

"What kind of scenario could we get for this?" Lyrvanna laughs.

Dove pulls. "The scene is a moonlit beach with a trail of... roses--" Dove shakes her head at me-- "leading to a secure spot. Puller 2 is planning to confess to puller 3. Puller 1 followed pulled 3 down the trail and is listening in not liking this at all. React as your characters truly would." She puts the card down. "Action!"
