Chapter 49: Sibling Day
~Zane~

"Sibling day!" Zerenity shouts as she bursts into my room.

"Sibling what?" I groan.

"Today, you, Vylad, Garroth, and I are going to hang out." She cheers.

"No."

"Yes." She grabs my hand and drags me to her room. Garroth and Vylad where already in there.

"You actually got him to come, I'm impressed." Vylad claps.

"Haha. Can we just get this over with?" I fold my arms.

"We should cherish this day, not get it over with. All of us are always too busy doing something else instead of hanging out together and I don't like it. We're siblings, we all live together but we never see each other. Do you guys remember how close we used to be as kids?" Zerenity looks at each of each us.

"You wouldn't be able to separate us," Garroth says.

"Exactly, what happened? Come on! All I'm asking for is this day." She beams.

"Fine..." I sigh. Now I feel bad because I didn't want to do this before. She just had to make me feel bad but she's right. We should spend some time together, I guess.

"Yay! So what should we do first?"

"I don't know." Vylad shrugs.

"We can just sit here and stare at each other," I say sarcastically.

"Ooh! Good idea!" Zerenity stares at Vylad.

Vylad shrugs again, "I'll just go with it." He turns to stare at Garroth.

"Um, okay." Garroth begins staring at me.

"I'm not doing it, I was being sarcastic," I explain.

"Join us, Zane," they said in unison.

"That's creepy!" I shout.

"Please just do it." Zerenity continues staring Vylad.

"Fine but there's no point in this and it's really weird and creepy." I start staring at Zerenity.

The door opens and Mom walks in, "Oh, kids, there you are! I was... Um, kids?" Soon enough the door closes and she's gone. From outside the door, she shouts, "Honey! The kids are broken again!"

This is the weirdest thing I've ever done.

We've given up on staring at each other long ago and now we're just sitting on the couch watching a movie. I think it's called Secrets Of Mystreet.

"She should just tell her mom about her powers, I'm sure her mom would understand." Zerenity pouts.

"Yeah, her mom has powers too anyway. They should just tell each other and all the conflicts that will happen in this movie would be solved before it happens." Vylad agrees.

"Are we just not going to talk about the fact that there was an evil toddler running around with a knife?" I question.

"None of the adults noticed it either, I feel really bad for Clarity, getting put in the sand like that. I really ship Carter and Clarity though." Zerenity squeals.

"You're just like the Zerenity in the movie, both of you are short too." Garroth laughs.

"Not nice!"

"You know what else is strange that we aren't talking about? All of the characters look like us, act like us, and have the same names as us." I point out.

"A lot of movies are like that. Have you seen 18? Or Her Diaries? Or Moving To Mystreet? Or Flirt Next Door?" Zerenity says.

"Alright, I get it."

"Have you ever noticed how in all of those movies Zerenity ends up with Travis?" Vylad points out and we all turn to her.

"They're just movies, it doesn't mean anything." She shrugs. "I'm happy with Gene."

"'Happy', she says." Vylad shakes his head.

"I am! Can we just get back to the movie?"

"Alright, fine," he sighs.
