Chapter 97: Fixing Problems

"Oh... so all I have to do is divide these two by the--" I'm interrupted by a knock on my door. "Mom~! I'm still studying~! I'll just reheat my dinner later!"

Despite me saying that the door opens. "I'm not your mom." Dove walks in the room with Lyrvanna and Travis behind her.

"Dovey~Chan! What are you doing here?!" I beam as I run and hug her. "Did all of you come to be my study buddies?!"

"No, it's the opposite. I'm here to fix all of you." She closes the door behind her and pushes Travis and Lyrvanna further into the room.

"I don't need fixing." Travis, Lyrvanna, and I say in unison. We turn toward each other. "What? Yes, you do."

"All three of you do. Zerenity's become addicted to studying, Travis is constantly dating people I don't ship him with, Lyrvanna's become a party animal and is no longer socially awkward--" Lyrvanna cuts Dove off.

"Actually... I'm still socially awkward." She shrugs.

"How many people do you talk to in a day?"

"I don't know... a lot?"

"Exactly."

"I'm not addicted to studying." I insert.

"What else do you do besides studying?" Dove wonders.

"Research colleges!" I reply confidently. 

"Which is a form of..." she urges me on.

"... ... ... Studying..." I sigh.

"I can date whoever." Travis decides.

"No, you can't." Dove, Lyrvanna, and I say.

All three of them turn to me. "What? As his best friend, I have to make sure anyone he dates is good enough for him."

"Right..." Dove shakes her head. "Anyway, if I don't want you with random girls that I don't ship you with and Zerenity doesn't approve of them then you can't date them."

"I also have to ship you with them so..." Lyrvanna adds.

"We ship him with the same person, there was no point of you adding that in." Dove turns to her.

"I know I just wanted to feel included."

"I think you're included in a lot more than you need to be included in."

"What? What does that mean?"

"Wait!" I stop them for a moment. "What do you mean you ship him with the same person? Lyrvanna ships him and I... Oh! Unless you ship him with someone new! Who is it? Tell me!" I excite.

Dove and Lyrvanna look at each other before shaking their head then looking back at me. "It is you." They groan in unison.

"Me? Oh. Uh... I don't approve."

"What?" All three of them ask.

"You said you have to ship it AND I have to approve of the person. I don't approve of me. Thank you, next." 

"WHAT!?" Dove groans. "Why not?"

"Uh... because?"

"That's not an answer."

"I don't ship it."

"And this is another problem I have to fix, why are all of you so problematic? I was only gone for a couple of months." Dove sighs.

"To be fair, you leaving didn't cause my problem." Lyrvanna shrugs.

"Yeah... whatever caused Lyrvanna's problem is what's causing my so-called 'problem'. Even though it's not really a 'problem' at all." Travis adds.
