High School Mayhem

Dante stops me. "What do you mean you aren't going?"

"I have a really important show that I need to watch, I've fallen a bit behind." It's true, I've missed a bunch of episodes, do you know how impossible it was to dodge spoilers online? I'm not trying to have it ruined for me.

"But it's our last party before college." Dante protests.

"Too bad, I never liked parties anyway. Just be glad that I'm going to the talent show and graduation." I rush into my old room.

~Zerenity~

I yawn as I walk backstage. Everyone was already here and dressed for what came directly after this, the graduation ceremony. Everyone had a dress or tux on, they look super suave. "Hey, guys!" I wave.

"Zerenity! Hey, I thought you were going to end up missing it." Travis says.

"Me too, I accidentally fell asleep in my closet and I got tangled up in my clothes," I explain.

"How does that happen?" Dove wonders.

"I don't know but it did." I shrug.

"First up, we have Travis Valkrum." The announcer person says.

"Good luck," I say and pat his shoulder.

I clap as he comes back this way. "Next is Dante Violet."

I can't keep you with who Dante sings about, is it someone new? Someone he's dated? Someone he sang about before? Somehow... all three? Who knows?

"Next is Laurance Zvahl."

<<Okay, so here's the thing. I can't write in between the song so when Laurance sings and he takes a break this is what happened:

"I can not believe this is--" Before I can get the rest of my words out, Kawaii~Chan pushes me on stage. Everyone stares at me as I stumble on. I can't just walk off, what do I do?

Should I pretend this was part of the plan? Should I sing along?

And end scene. Tada~! So that's what happened.>>

I dash off the stage. Once Laurance comes backstage, I rush over to him. "I'm so so so so sorry! Kawaii~Chan literally pushed me onto the stage and I couldn't just walk off because that'd be embarrassing so I just sang with you, I'm sorry. I just sang what I felt like saying and-and I'm super sorry and you know I hate saying sorry but I'm sorry."

"Are you kidding, that song was great." He laughs.

"Is that a joke?" I squint my eyes at him. "Did you not hear the words of my part?"

He shrugs. "It's how you feel and you can't help that's how you feel."

"Ooh... That was cheesy. That was really cheesy." I laugh.

"Cheesier than that one pizza we had one summer with seven kinds of cheese and cheese stuffed crust?"

"Nothing is cheesier than that." I laugh. Well, the awkward stage is over. Thanks, Kawaii~Chan.

"Next up we have Zerenity Ro'Maeve." The announcer says.

"And now, Zane Ro'Maeve."

Did he just call her a...

I dash to Dove and start holding her back along with Dante and Travis. Oh my Irene, they really don't seem to be making up anytime soon.

"And finally, Dove Violet."

Okay, wow. That was really intense too. That relationship is beyond the point of being fixed. I guess Zove is officially over?

NO!

What am I saying?

If I just wait patiently and pretend not to know what's going on, they'll get back together.

"Give one last round of applause for the class of 2021!" Our principal shouts. Everyone cheers and all of us seniors stand up and throw our caps in the air.

Wow, I can't believe I actually did that.

I'm officially done with high school, seems like a dream.

Before I can even blink, my friends come over and group hugs everyone who's graduating.

"Let's PARTY~!" Someone shouts as they push everyone toward the party. Luckily, I slip out before I get there, I'm serious about watching my show.

I'm not missing any more episodes.
