Falling in Love

Chapter 41

It's been two weeks since I've seen Layla, I've been happy because I get to see her soon but I don't have her yet. I know exactly what I'm going to do.
"Hey we're leaving now, the cars here." Luke says coming into the back room, grabbing his charger and phone.
"Ok let's do this" I say smiling.
"I'm going to see my baby" I say and walk pretty fast out of the bus. I hear him laughing behind me. The flight to Buffalo felt like forever, once there we went into a hotel as a cover, we came out in sweaters and glasses so no one would recognize us. We drove to Toronto which took a while, again it felt like hours and hours. I kept looking at my bag. Knowing the best day of my life is today. We finally pull up to their building. I see Kirsten outside. I couldn't stop smiling.
"Hey. So she still has no idea your here. We're gonna go up to my place first" she says to me while hugging Calum. She takes us up and tells us to get ready. She still has about 30 minutes until she's supposed to be home from school. I put on my shirt and jeans. The shirt has roses on it, I thought just a t-shirt would be too plain. I fix my hair a little bit and look at myself in the mirror. I jump around a little trying to get the nerves out.
"Are you ready?" Kirsten says smiling.
"Yea. I hope she's ready."
"I think she is" we walk up the stairs to her apartment. All my nerves go away knowing the love of my life is on the other side of this door. She opens the door.

Layla's POV
It's just about time for Kirsten to be home, I'm actually out of bed and I am surprising her by making dinner. I hear the door open.
"Hey guess what!" I say walking over stopping dead in my tracks. I drop the spoon with spaghetti sauce on it.
"Oh my god." I say looking at Ashton. He walks closer to me. I cover my mouth with my hand.
"Hi." Kirsten says from behind him. He suddenly starts to shrink. I look down to see him reaching in his pocket and getting down on one knee. I gasp. I want to cry.
"Layla, I know we didn't meet that long ago, but you make me so incredibly happy, the last few weeks have been hell. I've missed you like crazy. You make me a better performer a better friend and an overall better person. I love you to farthest star. Will you please marrying me?" He says pulling out a little red velvet box, he opened it to reveal a beautiful ring. I drop to my knees.
"Yes Ashton! Yes! Yes a thousand times yes!!!" I say crying. He picked me and spun me around kissing me. I wrap my legs around his waist.
"I missed you so much!" I say hugging him. He laughs.
"Well I'm happy your happy" Kirsten says smiling.
"Did you set this up!? like how the fuck?!"
"Ya I helped a little bit."
"You should be thanking Michael though." Ashton says, Mike laughs.
"He gave me the idea." Ashton says. I run over to Michael and give him a big hug.
"Thank you for saving me" I whisper in his ear. I give them all hugs.
"So wait why are you not standing next to Cal kissing him?" I ask Kirsten.
"Oh yea I was so busy making sure this went well that I forgot to say hi!" She says and walks over Calum, she jumps into his arms and hugs him.
