Geno bearhugged the city's savior. "You're a tough cookie you know that!!"
Yuko smiled from ear to ear. Everyone called him a hero. It felt relieving to him. Yuko kept his promise to Deltrus which meant a lot to him. "I'm just glad that everything's...." Yuko fell backwards and passed out. He was exhausted.
The five spirits watched as Yuko's carried the towns hero to a hospital from high above.
"The fight is finally over." Yusei said in relief.
"That had to be one the toughest duels I've ever seen." Yuma said.
"You say that for all of us. I'm glad Yuko managed to pull through." Yuya added.
Jaden laughed. "Yuko deserves to rest after all of that."
"You're right Jaden. And best of all is that I'm sure that Yuko can now control the mark's power. We have accomplished our mission." Yugi looking into the sky. "I'm glad that we were able to have been apart of his journey."

Yuko opened his eyes. He was in a hospital bed. His body wasn't hurting or anything. He just had a few band aids on his face, arms, and legs. He noticed a nurse at the side of the bed.
"Oh you're awake! Your friends will be thrilled to hear about this!" The nurse ran to the door and opened it.
Yuko smiled as all of his friends walked into the room. Tammi, Mimi, Cambell, Victoria, Geno, and.. "Kenji!!" Yuko was happy to see Kenji okay after what happened to him during the duel against Xerus. Someone else walked in and Yuko's mouth gaped open. "Benta!!! You're okay!!"
Benta smiled and laughed. "Yup!! I'm alive and well!!"
"I thought you were dead....I thought I lost my best friend." Yuko began to tear up. Benta was alright and it made Yuko emotional.
"Yuko I'm fine!" Benta remembered his duel with Asia and the sacrifice he made. It made him sad to know that Asia was still dead, but he kept his head up. "My duel with Asia just didn't end with a winner, that's all."
Yuko then looked over at Kenji. His eyes were full of life which was a good sign. Kenji smirked. "You did good Yuko. You did good."
Yuko giggled and accepted Kenji's compliment. "Thanks Kenji. I couldn't have done it without you." Yuko then remembered the lives of the friends he lost. He hoped that they were all alive again for some odd reason. "So where's Soran and the others? Are they here too?"
Tammi and everyone else frowned. "Yuko, they're still dead. I don't think defeating Xerus was enough to revive them."
Yuko began to mourn inside. "Oh..." It felt like a piece of him was taken away. He missed Soran and the Legion and wanted to see them alive again. "That's...uh....excuse me." Yuko got out of his hospital bed and ran through the door.
*****
The city was a beautiful site as Yuko watched the people of Domino Heart beginning to rebuild their destroyed city from the hospital's rooftop. The haunting thought of Soran and the Legion's deaths kept begging him to cry, but he tried to keep it all in.
The five spirits appeared next to him as he grieved over his loses. Yugi placed his hand on Yuko's shoulder. Suprisingly, Yuko felt it.
"It'll be alright Yuko." Yugi said. "They may be gone, but you have them in your heart, in your soul, and in your deck. They're not dead, they still live on within you."
Yuko wiped his incoming tears. He was glad to be comforted by Yugi and the other spirits.
"That duel was awesome Yuko!!" Yuma cheered. "The way you utilized all of your forbidden cards was just amazing!! In my day, I couldn't have possible pulled off something like that!!"
