As always, returning home after being out all day only brought Nari a sense of sadness. Being all alone was the worst thing for her. Even if the boys were busy while they were at home she still could find comfort in their presence. They always accepted her warmly and eagerly, letting her watch whatever it was that they were doing with curious eyes. Occasionally they'd pat her head or smile in her direction, making sure that she knew that she was always included.

Nari could feel how clingy she was to them and she hated it. She knew that she was falling, and she was falling fast. If she ever hit rock bottom it would hurt. Badly. But she couldn't stop herself, they were just so kind. No one had ever treated her like they did and she didn't want it to stop.

I just don't understand, The girl felt hot tears welling up in her eyes, Why are you so nice to me? We've barely met, yet somehow you understand me better than anyone I've ever known. I know I'm selfish, but please don't leave. I don't want you to go.

She wiped her eyes and went upstairs, letting her subconscious guide her, ending up in front of the room that Namjoon and Taehyung shared. Nari knew that she was just digging her grave deeper but she didn't care.

So the girl threw herself onto the older boy's bed and laid in the covers that smelled like his cologne. She took a shaky breath. Just being somewhere that reminded her of the person she cared about most would be enough.

Namjoon...I wish you were here, Nari couldn't help but feel her heart calling out to him, You've only been gone for a few hours, but I feel so lonely and empty. You'd know how to help me. You'd make sure that I didn't fall asleep sad.

Nari wrapped the blankets closer around her and squeezed her eyes shut. She could almost imagine that he was with her now. Soon all the loneliness would fade away and she would be left with nothing but a cozy, warm feeling. A feeling that assured her that everything would be okay.

"Looks like we're heading home a little earlier today." Suga observed as they all piled into the car after leaving the studio, "It's only 22:30. Maybe Nari will still be awake."

"Nah, probably not. She fell asleep pretty early last time, remember? She was in Namjoon's room." Taehyung replied and yawned, "And even if she was awake I'd tell her to go to bed. We've gotta be responsible and stuff. Like role models or whatever."

Jin scoffed, "Yeah right, like you're such a role model yourself. You do enough dumb shit as it is."

"Aw! What!" Taehyung playfully pouted, "You guys don't give me nearly enough credit."

Namjoon laughed along with the others and felt a buzz from the phone in his pocket. He checked it to see that it was a text from Aecha, the headmaster at the orphanage.

I apologize for contacting you this late, but I was just curious to know how Nari is settling in.

She's doing great, He texted back immediately, We really love having her around and I think that she likes being with us too

I'm really happy to hear that. She's really changed since you started visiting her, you know? Nari used to be such a sad child, but since she's known you, she smiles so much more.

Namjoon couldn't help but smile too. She wasn't the only one that was happier now. The boy placed the phone back in his pocket. Nari deserves all the happiness that he could give and more.

"Hey! Namjoon!" Jungkook tapped his shoulder, "We're home. You should check on Nari, she's probably in your room again."

Namjoon nodded, "Yeah. I'll do that."

So while all the other boys raided the fridge for a late night snack or set up the PS4 for a quick game, Namjoon headed upstairs. Just as Jungkook predicted, Nari was asleep in his bed. He smiled. Poor girl. She must get so lonely.

He gently stepped into the room and walked past the bed as quietly as he could, but a small hand unexpectedly grabbed the bottom of his shirt, "Please don't leave."

"Hello darling," Namjoon softly greeted her and kneeled to her eye level, "Are you okay?"

"I-I'm sorry for being here again." Nari stammered and sat up, "I'll go."

"Shhh, it's okay. Don't worry. You're welcome here anytime you like." He assured her and placed a comforting hand on the girl's shoulder, "Do you want to stay the night? I promise that I don't mind." Namjoon's voice softened, "I mean, you're already here, so I don't see why you should have to leave."

"I think that's a good idea!" Taehyung said from the doorway, "Namjoon can just take my bed and I'll sleep on our couch or something."

Nari shook her head, "I don't want you to do that. It's not comfortable."

"It's okay!" The energetic boy replied, "Think of it like this: You're a princess and I'll be your knight. Knights always sleep closer to the door so that they can warn their princess of any danger." He bowed, "And you're the fairest princess in all the land, my dear Nari. You deserve only the best."

The girl could feel her face getting hotter, "Are you sure that you'll be okay?"

"Of course I will!" Taehyung grabbed a couple pillows and a blanket from his bed, "Don't you worry, princess. I'll be happy as long as I'm with you." He kissed the tips of his fingers and gently placed them against her forehead, "Sweet dreams, Nari."

Namjoon smiled and squeezed her hand reassuringly, "Is that okay with you?"

Nari nodded shyly, "Yes. I'd like that."

"Good." He chuckled and repeated Taehyung's tender gesture, letting his fingertips linger for a little while longer, "We love you, darling. Let us know if you need anything."

The girl hastily said her goodnights and squeezed her eyes shut as she hid in the blankets. He said it again. Love. Nari could feel her heart beating faster and faster. She truly did mean something to them. That, she didn't think that she would ever get used to.
