The Short Encounter

I never knew the world was this bright

Until I held you, my knight

Your love called me out bravely

I reached out because to me it was safety

When I was stuck in the dark

You were my spark

It was when I let you go

That I realized I lead myself to the cold snow

Our short encounter made me selfish for you

This was an everlasting dream I wanted to come true

We were seasons to each other

I left, hoping your happiness will uncover

My wish for your happiness made you cry

Like the rain with a long sigh

The pain is just temporary

It will be only feel briefly heavy

It's okay if you forget me

I will remember you longer then the life of a tree

It's fine if you forget everything

I will find you when you call me like our first day of spring
