Demi and I's vacation came to an end and when I got back home to Oliver, something was off about him, he as really mopey and wasn't eating and something just felt off.
A few days passed and when Demi texted me about how she had to go to Colby's parent teacher conference for the end of the year; I noticed Oliver was laying on the cool tile and that wasn't like him. He was an active dog; always wanting to play and get into trouble and get your attention so seeing him like this.. just wasn't right.
I ended up texting Demi I was going to the vet and I'll update her later.
I sat in the waiting room with my sick pup and when the nurse came out she said our vet was on it's way, saying "it wasn't sounding good" which is always a great thing to say to someone who might have an issue with their pet.
When the vet arrived he took a look at Oliver immediately and while he was examining my dog, he was flirting and I was about over it.
"Listen, you're here to take care of my dog, not flirt with me and for your information, you're embarrassing yourself. I'm a lesbian, I don't play for dick" I spoke with a shrug in my tone and he stopped his flirting immediately and was so professional that he was in a monotone and rarely made eye contact and I was annoyed but moved passed it, wanting to just see if my dog was okay.
He decided Oliver needed a scan so I sat in the waiting room on my phone impatiently, informing Demi only to see that she posted on Instagram.

"Alright Miss Lowe, here's what we've found" He came out holding scans and I took a deep breath, standing up to meet his gaze.
"Oliver as a tumor on his left lobe of his brain; see that there, now if I don't go in and treat it; you're counting down days till he dies" He pointed out the tumor and the air got trapped in my lungs.
