You wandered around the park, coughing softly into your handkerchief. You sat down at a bench and opened your journal, grabbing your pen and starting to write.
Eventually, someone sat next to you. You ignored them, hoping they weren't talking to you, then they tapped you on the shoulder. You sighed softly, then turned around, facing your old best friend and then beau, James Madison.
You squealed, grinning, and set down your notebook and pen. You hugged him tightly. He started to speak, then laughed, shaking his head, then started to sign.
Y/n! It's been to lon- He started, smiling broadly. You rolled your eyes, then grabbed the front of his shirt, pulling him in roughly and kissing him.
Shut up and kiss me, idiot. You sighed, grinning. He blushed darkly, then leaned in and pecked your lips.
"I love you." He whispered. You read his lips, then laughed, hugging him again.
I should hope so.
