Requested by rainbowland75! This is part two to the chapter where soulmates have the last words they ever say to each other on their arms. You and Alex are soulmates, and he's dead.
*cracks knuckles* Cry, suckers, cry. (Nah, I'm just kidding. I mean, go ahead and cry, if you feel like it, but that's not my goal, I promise. XD)
Your POV:
You froze as the carriage came towards you at full speed, the horses out of control. You screamed but couldn't move. You closed your eyes and felt nothing, then pain, then nothing.
You didn't feel anything at all. No pain. You opened your eyes. You were standing on the other side. Your mother was here, so was your father. Your cousin, your dogs, your grandparents, their grandparents and everyone else, but you only had eyes for one person.
"Alexander." You breathed, tears streaming down your face.
"Love, you're here." He whispered as you collapsed in his arms. Your chest heaved as you sobbed.
"I missed you...so much." You wept.
"Shhh." He whispered into your hair, kissing your forehead, your cheeks, your hands, your lips. Tears fell from the both of your eyes as you reunited for the first time in years.
"I love you too." He said, pulling away sadly.
You suddenly started falling, and woke up in bed. You shivered and cried.
"Y/n, what is it?" Your husband, Alexander, asked softly, wrapping his arms around your waist. You sobbed and cuddled into him, leaning your head into his chest.
"I-I, y-you died-d." You cried. He pulled you closer and hugged you tighter.
"Shh, I know, I know. Shh, I know, I know." Alex whispered into your hair, running his hands through your h/c locks.
"I'm fine, love. You're fine. I love you, we're going to be together forever." He said. You shivered and nodded as he kissed your cheek.
"O-okay. I love you too." You sniffled. He smiled softly and kissed your hair too. You sighed softly and drifted off. Alexander hugged you tightly and you fell asleep in his arms.
"Night, love."
