LXVI. In The Name of Unity (Part 2)

"What is this? Where are we?" Tammi asked.

Kenji looked around. He noticed several warriors in silver armor and magicians in red robes running around. It didn't take Kenji long to realized who they were because they all had glowing blue and green eyes. "They're our ancestors."

"Yes indeed." Xerus appeared on top of a building. The warriors and magicians turned their attention onto him. "This will be the end of the Itaru Legacy."

"Xerus!!" A women with glowing grey eyes in a white suit of armor stepped forward and drew her sword.

Kenji and Tammi knew exactly who she was. It was their mom. A man in golden armor appeared next to her. His didn't glow, but stood ready to fight. It was their father.

"I have brought our family together and united us to fight in this war. You will not win. We stand here in the name of Itara!!" Their mother declared.

"For Olympia!!" Their father shouted.

The scene changed. Kenji and Tammi now stood in the middle of a barren wasteland. Dead bodies were everywhere. Only the siblings' parents were alive. Tammi wanted to go and hug them, but Kenji held her back.

"This isn't real. They're aren't real."

"But-"

"Xerus is trying to mess with our minds."

The parents began cry. The war was over, but a huge price was paid. "The Itaru name won't last like this." Their mother, Kora, said.

"We still have the twins." Titus, their father said.

"Yes, but they have the Eyes of War. If we don't have another child to balance them out, they may destroy each other."

"We should here then. Begin a new life. It would be best for the kids while they're only two."

"I suppose." Kora planted her sword into the ground and cried. Her whole family was gone. "May your souls be one with Itara." She then opened a portal and the parents arrived onto Earth.

The scene once again. Tammi and Kenji found themselves on top of a building. The two found their parents facing off against Xerus. Kora drew her sword.

"I will avenge my family!!" Kora charged, but Xerus stopped her. Titus attacked next, but Xerus stopped him too.

"I've already killed someone earlier today. Are you two sure you want to avenge the Itaru Clan?"

"Even if we die here," Kora began.

"Our kids will surely avenge us in the future."

Xerus laughed and shot two beams of darkness. "I'll be waiting for that day to come."

Kenji and Tammi watched their parents drop dead. Xerus turned towards them and their surroundings returned to normal. Kenji was next to Yuko again and Tammi was back onto the roof.

"You did it. This whole time it was you all along!!"-Kenji

"Tammi, what happened? You zoned out."-Mimi

"He did it. He killed my parents."-Tammi

"What?"-Mimi

{You guys need to beat this creep and fast}-Tammi

"What did he show you?"-Yuko

"Same as you I'm guessing. He won't get away with it."-Kenji

Kenji looked at his card and smirked. His eyes glowed in a blue light and he was engulfed in a silver aura.
