Chapter 25: The Baby Is Born
Ariana's P.O.V.
"What are you doing here?"I ask him.
"Never mind that, he's here!"My mother hugs him. What the heck? Why would she hug him?
"You both can't stay in here with her"the doctor says.
"It's ok doctor, I was just on my way out"my mom says and leaves.
Great. Of course she would leave me.
Justin stands there awkwardly.
I scream again as another pain shoots through me.
"Are you gonna go over there and calm her down?"the doctor asks Justin. Justin walks slowly over to the bed with me.
He looks at me and then at my stomach.
Justin's P.O.V.
She's so beautiful.
I can't believe that I'm here with her.
I'm really nervous actually. I'm sure she's even more nervous than me.
"I think we're ready. The baby is about to come out. I need you to push as hard as you can"the doctor says.
She takes my hand in hers and squeezes tightly.
I look at her and she smiles at me and I do the same.
"You ready?"I ask. She nods.
Ariana's P.O.V.
"On a count of three, you're gonna push. 1, 2, 3"he says and I push.
I scream again and push real hard.
"You got this. You can do this"Justin says. I squeeze his hand even tighter and push.
I keep pushing and pushing.
"I can't do this"I say.
"Yes you can. You got this"Justin looks into my eyes. I have the sudden urge to kiss him but I know I can't.
"Sing to me"I say.
"Umm ok, what do you want me to sing?"he asks.
"Be alright"I say.
"Ok, I can sing that"he says. He begins to sing.
Across the ocean, across the sea,
Starting to forget the way you look at me now

I keep pushing and finally I hear a loud cry throughout the room.
I look up at the doctor and see him haul away a small human.
"You did it"Justin says and hugs me. It feels good to be in his arms again.
"Thank you for singing"I say. Everyone comes hurrying in.
"Ariana you did it"My mom hugs me.
"I know"I say. "Yay! This is so exciting"Tracy says.
"Hey baby"Connor comes to me and kisses me in front of Justin.
I back up at Justin and see a flash of hurt in his eyes.
I notice Frankie and Jeanette.
"Ok you two, explain"I say to them.
"ItwasFrankieideatocallandiwithmystupidseflagreed"Jeanette begins to explain really fast.
"Jeanette slow down"I say.
"What she's trying to say is that I had the idea of calling Justin and bringing him down here. I knew if you gave birth without him being here with you, you would regret it"Frankie says.
"I wouldn't of regret it"I say. Frankie gives me a look.
"Ok fine, I probably would have. But you guys should have told me"I say.
"Yea I agree. I don't like surprise visits"Connor says. I remember yesterday when he said that to me.
"I'm really sorry"Jeanette says. "It's ok"I forgive her.
I'm kinda happy that he came. I would of never been able to give birth with my mother by my side.
We talk a little more until the doctor comes back in holding the baby.
"Ariana meet your daughter"he says and hands me her.
"She's so beautiful"I say. "She is"Justin says.
"Your finally a mother"Tracy says.
"And I'm a grandmother"my mom says.
"I'm so happy for you"Jeanette says.
I look up at Frankie and see he has his back turned.
"Are you crying?"I ask him. "No, I'm not"he sniffles and turns back to me and wipes his eyes.
"It's getting hot. I'm gonna be in the lobby"Connor says and leaves.
Why is he leaving? Weird.
"What are you gonna name her?"My mom asks.
"Sophia Joan Bieber"I say. I look up at Justin and he smiles at me.
"I love that name"he says.
"It's perfect"Jeanette says.
"Aww her middle name is my name"my mom says. "I know. I liked it"I say.
"You wanna hold her?"I ask Justin.
"Sure"he says and sits next to me on the bed. He takes her from my hands.
She reaches her small hand out to touch Justin's face.
"Hi Sophia"he says.
Everything right now is perfect.
Connor's P.O.V.
"What do you mean he's there at the hospital?"boss yells at me in the phone.
"It was Frankie and Jeanette. They called him"I say.
"I can't believe you let this happen. I wanted Ariana to forget about Justin and for Justin to forget about Ariana. I guess Madison failed to steer him away"he says.
"What do we do now?"I ask.
"I'll think about it. I'll call you back as soon as I got a plan. I can tell you now that Justin will wish he never came back"he says and evilly laughs.
He hangs up.
